right I want to find these out once and for all, what exactly are the tactics people use to absolutely destroy their enemies (aside from the obvious, full on waves of boyz rushing in and killing everything) and I know there isn't a insta-win tactic or army list since that's just unfair

I know of two examples so far, take a bunch of burna boyz in a battlewagon and role around burning gak or but a bunch of meganobz with grotsnik in transport and go for the enemy head on.
what other combos/tactics that work well and will basically kill anything?

There's no reliable way to absolutely destroy anyone with an ork army.

We're bullies. We can't expect to take our opponents' strongest units head on, so we have to focus on the soft spots: Scoring troops and their usually soft-skinned transports. And even then, massive losses are to be expected.

My favorite tactic? Multiple charges. Isolate a squad and beat it to a pulp with a couple of mobs. Even if the first mob takes some losses to overwatch fire (It tends to happen when you have 30 guardsmen/cultists or 20 CSM on overwatch), the second one will get there unharmed. And you'll still have plenty of bodies when your initiative step finally arrives.

War does not determine who is right - only who is left.

There is no "auto win" style of play with orks.
But deff roller wagons, dakkajets and lootas dont go far wrong.

45 Lootas are a thing.

Nob Bikers (5 or 6 Nobz, with bikes, with two powerklaw or one powerklaw and bikerboss with powerklaw, with painboy, and cyborked).

Big Gunz, pick a flavor you like and bring them.

Stompas - If you are allowed, with mekz inside.

I am the kinda ork that takes his own washing machine apart, puts new bearings in it, then puts it back together, and it still works.

Multiple nob bikers and battlewagon spam.

Waves of footslogging boyz don't frighten anyone no more.

As an avid Ork player for 5 years (they're my main and favourite army) I've found that a MegaBoss with Cybork Body, Attack Squig, and Bosspole is damn near impossible to move. Slap him in a unit of 5 Nobz in 'eavy armour with a klaw or two and a Painboy with Grot Orderly, give em all Cybork Bodies, and laugh as your whole unit walks across the field ignoring bolter fire left and right. If you have the extra 15 points, add in the Waaaugh! banner. You won't regret it when all those 3's you thought you missed in CC are actually hits, especially when they're attacks from power klaws.

"You just rolled a Yahtzee during a game of Warhammer! Too bad none of those 3's were successful saving throws... "

It won't hold up against no holds barred tournament lists, but it should perform admirably against most 2nd tier lists with a little practice.

I personally prefer Biker Nobz and a Biker Boss over Meganobz. There is too much AP2 in this edition, and the bike gives +1 Toughness, good Cover, good shooting (Lolwut?) and a massive speed boost. Plus, while he's not as good at wound Shenanagins as we used to be, a Biker Boss is still pretty great at them. Just arrange your Biker Nobz in a little semi-circle behind the Warboss, all exactly 2" away. Make sure the Boss is in the front. Then, when you get shot at, you allocate his Look Out, Sir! to whoever has 2 wounds left.

Ditto, the extra toughness also really lets you exploit the usage of FNP from the Painboy to full effect since nothing short of Demolisher Cannons or Railguns can ignore it, unlike Normal Nobz or MegaNobz who promptly get wiped out by the plethora of S8 weapons in the game like battlecannons or SM power fists/thunder hammers compared to the more meagre collection of weapons that are S10.

If you are playing sissy

FOR and Aquila Strongpoint stuffed with Lootas and covered by VSG.

If you are playing Orky.

Massive horde of orks plowing forward, or a fleet of bw and/or trukks running full out at the enemy..

KFF is good, most times.

Lootas are good, as are Dakkajets, but yo don't really need both.

The place Orks fall down is anti-armour. Tankbustas are a bit meh, and the most reliable way to kill tanks is to smack them about in CC.

Planks are fun. Especially when teamed with PK's.

Burnaboys are great, if you can get them to where they need to be without the enemy nuking them first. Unfortunately the oppoennt will usually ask which vehicle the burnas are in, then nuke it hard.

Nob bikers are still pretty hardcore, as are bikerbosses.

I prefer an in-your-face style of play, with most of my army in the enemy endzone as soon as can be arranged, bashing heads.
