Annoying? Hardly. I answered with what i think is the strongest cannon in normal games. That was what you were wondering about, yes?

Me? No? read the OP dude. That will help you learn, understand and improve.

The OP wrote this:

Its something Ive always wondered, what is the most powerful cannon in 40k not including the novels or games or apocalypse or anything I mean just the regular 40k game. This gun has to be able to be used in a normal tabletop match.

Stronghold Assault and Escalation are part of regular 40k and can be used in a normal tabletop match. Therefore, he is not wrong in his line of thinking. Apoc just excludes like Laser Blasters.

And I agree with him. Macro cannons are the most powerful non-apoc ordnance in the game.

The strongest non-D weapon is probably the Plasma Annihilator or Hellstorm Cannon, depending on preference. The strongest weapon outside of supplements and add-ons is the Deathstrike Missile.

Yeah, pure numbers alone tho, it goes to the Bastion breacher shells. It doesn't forgive if it hits you.

Heavy Railguns fire an Ap1 Destroyer 5" Blast at considerable range, I'd have to give it to that, or the Macro Cannon with its 15" Blast radius!

Given the Hellstorm Cannon is Ordnance 8, 7" blast though...

Counting Forgeworld? Giga Shootas pretty Powerful (6d6 shots S6 AP4 shots 48" range) Or the Skullhamma Kannon (S9 AP3 10 inch blast Range 60")

If not, then the Belly gun is Range 72" S7 AP3 3d6 blast
