Hello I've been playing with my necron and have been getting on and Iam wondering how to beat them. The army list I run is a mini wraithwing list at 1000pts but even though I have 2 flyers 2 annihilation barges and a set of wraiths I get smashed.

Give us a run down on a game you played against Eldar and we might be able to better assist.
(Battle report style would be best)

What did you and your Eldar opponent both run?

Stop relying on gimmicks and build a balanced Necron army.

His list doesn't sound gimmicky. It actually sounds solid. I suspect it's more of an issue of tactics.

Well Iam quite a noob but we were playing kill points i think the had jet bike squad with warlock? Or something and another unit of 3 bikes 2 war walkers one flyer a serpent with avengers and farseer and swooping hawks big the i messed up on was forgot to move with my wraiths while I was distracted which pissed me off all game keep in mind this if my 3rd game of 40k so nothing happened first 2 rounds then on his 3rd round as I failed to charge his avengers they embarked back on his serpent and went up for my warriors and my annihilation barge with his swooping hawks. Haywire...ouch my barge went boom first blood given then he killed my other annihilation barge with his walkers I recall my wraiths made it up to assault against swooping hawks which I wiped out easy he did not manage to wipe out my warrior squad then it was my turn. My 3rd since my reserves failed to come in on 2nd turn and his warlord trait made my flyers come on 4+ so only one came on I went for his war walkers as it was the one most easily to kill while the other combat was on the other side of the board wraiths warriors and serpent I managed to kill one walker as I rolled 6 hits with tesla destructor got 3 hits one pen 2 glance he saved both glance failed one pen and it exploded. His serpents hit and ran last turn so they were well outta range while I was running my wraiths to the other side of the field. His turn 4 flyer came in popped my flyer and with the troops inside it ran off the table then his serpent killed 2 wraiths as there were a few wound on them already. My turn flyer came in and I shot his flyer caused one glance cause he got 4 + invul from the warlock or something on the bike so I was quite sad. My wraiths still trying to get to the other side of the table...... His turn 5 he popped my flyer with his flyer and then I conceded where I only and 2 squad of warriors and wraith squad all sort off hacked up.

He got line breaker, first blood, 5 kill points I have one kill point then I conceded

Eldar wins 7 -1

Post game thought
If I made the movement I woulda slaughtered his dire avenger squad then consolidate to protect my barge
But he was way to damn fast seriously...... Can't catch his bikes all those eldar trickery spells sh*t on me I think he was just too fast
But my last game against him I beat him turn four with about 9 points to nothing but in my first game I had unbelievable rolls and my second was only unbelievable with my wraith squad with my d.lord I call JIMMY all in all I was pretty mad at my self but want to know a way to counter the eldar speed

Your list actually sounds more frightening than the eldar's. You've just made tactical mistakes. Do you need them listed?

You've answered all your own questions here, beyond how to counter Eldar speed. That's a bit of an obtuse question. To mitigate Eldar speed, one can concentrate firepower upon units which have that speed - or if late game objective grabbing is what you're getting at, you've got nightscythes to counter that issue.

I guess the down fall was my whole army is 24 " max range and got focused my question is what should I have focused?

If worried about the 24" max range. You can move 12" and still snap shot your tesla. Snap shotting tesla is almost on par with tl bs3....

Worried about wave serpents? Royal court with veiltek and 2 or 3 stormteks, and stormteks in warrior squads dropped off in scythes are good support for anni barges shooting at the serps.

Wraithknights and wraithlords hate wraiths with a dlord. An ovelord on ccb with mss, shifter and ws also is pretty nasty against these.

Jetbikes go down nicely to weight of fire.

War walkers battle focusing behind cover are a pain - use scythes to take these down or anni barges if they are stranded in the open due to a bad roll.

Warp spiders, hawks and fragons are priority number 1 targets. But should go down quickly enough if focused on. Same with prisms.

Necrons are probably one of the hardest match ups for eldar imo.

At low points necrons are awesome at flooding the board with AV13, which at low points give most armies fits. They also provide the Necrons with great maneuverability. I would drop the fliers and go with Arks as the fliers are not guaranteed to come on until turn 4. I usually don't start trying to run wraiths until around 1250--I feel that is where you can support them properly and instead put points towards Ann. Barges, Ghost Arks and troops. If you are worried about anti-air when dropping the scythes, don't. Annihilation Barges are one of the better anti-air units in the game.
