No photo, because I have no personal computer now. I fixed and sealed 17 out of 52 cutting gaunts. Roughly 1/3 done, 2/3 to go. Oh, and I finally put base colour and first wash on my 10 gargoyles. No white models on my desk, finally

I am currently working on my Imperial Knight I am working hard on to make real good lookin', I've also got the Imperial Guardsmen a friend and I both use as the same colour scheme (Fluff n' stuff) as well that I hope is pretty decent and nice to look at on the field. I've been doing some work with a secondary army of Orks I got too. No progress on that however.

***EDIT*** Haven't based the guardsmen so I wouldn't field 'em just yet.

Looks like the starter and... is that the spektr sniper? Or a prowler, i can't tell from this angle.

Given the black basecoat, i dunno if i'd do white like the studio scheme, i mean you could, just a pain. I definitely like the grey pants on the moderators, but i haven't bakunin starter far enough to speak much more about the others. Well, the moira looks cool with a dracula cape, though i suspect a red-riding-hood style would work too!

correct it's the starter set and a prowler my plan is a mostly grey color scheme from dark grey to almost
white (GW's base colours are quite useful in this case) with accents in turquoise, blue and orange.
maybe i'll add some urban camo too.

Sounds pretty neat, i mostly just followed the stock scheme but subbed in blue for orange and other little things where i felt the need.

back.
Spoiler:

I'd like to get back to finishing the starter box, but i've got a time-sensitive diorama to finish, the display box exterior is almost done...

Needs something other than the placeholder at the top, the rest of the bits will be printed and added later, just needs the windows cut and mounted in place, painting, and the insides finished of course.

thats a nice moderator! but the shoes are a little bit disturbing - pink and yellow are not my favourite colours

Haha its all part of that good old Bakunin social energy. Just cause they moderate deviants doesn't mean they don't have a wild side of their own! All of my moderators will have at least one funky aspect.

I got a lot of projects going on. I just finished a unit of Reductors for my Convergence of Cyriss army.
Just got the Withershadow combine for Cryx.
For commision I'm doing a starter box from Relic Knights from Sodapop miniatures. Interesting game there with some fantastic looking minis.

Monday I'm ordering the Ice Storm starter box from Infinity. That'll keep me busy for a while.

Also, check out my history blog: Minimum Wage Historian, a fun place to check out history that often falls between the couch cushions.

We shall have to compare notes! I've got a lot of minis to paint besides, but i doubt i'll be able to stay away from the box entirely...

I've got a few things here and there to finish up, but the two things projects being worked on at the desk today are a Chaos Marine jetbike conversion (using rat jawbones bones I harvested/stripped/bleached myself) and a Dark Veng Hellbrute w/assault cannon upgrade (because the meltagun looked REALLY stupid). The Hellbrute will be getting a glaze and detailing today, hoping to finish it up by tonight.
