I am a very on again, off again kinda of painter, and these are just some of the thing I have painted over the past few days. It's been a while since I painted anything

I love everything, except the purple. I don't know why, but it just kind of sticks out in an odd way. The paint jobs are very clean and the color scheme really helps break up and show off the details of the model. Very good work.

I chose purple as a sept colour just because it's a little different, instead of just the standard white, black or red etc ... And it gives the model a bit of spot colour, to add character. It's also a lot easier to paint then white or yellow lol

I thought the same thing...the models look pretty cool! The lences look great! They look so harmonic, except the purple...

I want the sept marking to stand out, that another reason I chose purple

Hmmm....what abaut blue? Like you used on the engine?(the thing on the back) you'll still have a contrasting color.but on the other hand, you achieved what you wanted with the purple....

Base coat is just Tierra Earth from Vallejo. I then washed it brown, the layered back on Tierra Earth.
