So I'm running some imperial guard, but I want to give them swords and shields on their backs/waist to make them look unique. Does anyone know what bitz would fit them without just becoming their back for example. They don't have to have uniform gear I just want size info and such.

Well I don't know if you saw what I posted on your other thread about this but I will attach it at the bottom of this one. I don't knwo if the tomb kings shield are to big but if they are you might want to try the Clanrat ones (but they are wooden shield not metal so not sure how that would fit into the scheme you are going for but are much smaller triangular shapes).

Well if you are looking at Warhammer fantasy you could probably get your hands on some tomb king skeleton shields pretty easily they have a similar look as to what you want I think. Swords can be found maybe from skaven clanrat sets possibly.

There are *many* options for swords and shields you could use with your IG. What rough theme do you want? Do you want chaosey undead/demonic/chaos shields? Do you want Elven clean cut, gem encrusted shields? Do you want basic medieval shields? Do you want high tech riot shields?

That's the best part, I don't need them to be uniform, nor all swords and shields. If I wanted I could have a guardsmen with a lasgun with a bow and quiver and the next guy a great sword.
