Okay well this one took me a bit to finish up (I had a few nids get in the way)

Anyways this here is my warlord for my Imperial Knight army. I must say this has been the funnest model to put together.

(BTW no intact Rhinos were harmed by myself in the making of this bigiature. The Rhino was already destroyed by a friend of mine and spread onto a few Riptide bases. I got the Riptides in trade and took the busted up parts and put them on m Knight's bases. There was no way to salvage them, even with my plasticard skills... :( )

Looks awesome. I really like the wings too, may I ask where they are from?

Neat conversion, I feel the wings could be brought out more by making some of the feathers red or something. It's a very wide conversion resulting in a lot of plain black space.

I am glad you like it! The wings are from the Deluxe Angel Of Death Figure from the Hell Boy 2 action figure line. A friend of mine had one that his dog chewed up. Someone the wings survived. He gave them to me to use on this model.

Here is a photo of the figure:

Perhaps so. I don't know if you can tell but there is a lot of blue in the wings too. What I thought about doing is painting the eyes to have a glowing effect. Do you think that would help some? I don't really want to change the colors of the wings so I can retain the "raven colored" look that they have.

OP brought this down to our LGS...simply perfect. Fluffy paint job and the wings fit well with the house raven theme. Great job, man!

I think the wings add a very Chaos feel, what with the eyes and all. I think i would like this a lot more on a converted Chaos Imperial Knight. The Knight itself looks very nice however - well done.

You're skilled!

So let me ask you about this kit, are the legs in bits or just mostly one big piece? I heard there are like three sprues to this $140 kit...

Crush your enemies, see them driven before you and to hear the lamentations of the women.

Thanks for the comments! To me the kit is one of the best ones they have made. The sprues are filled with bits. Right now looking at assembled legs, (Tassle included) there are 45 bits used to make the legs, feet, and hips.

True...those wings would have looked nice on a Thousand Sons Knight. I am glad you like the knight itself though!

Honestly, the model looks fantastic but the wings are a little too over the top for my personal taste. Paint job is really nice, though.

I'd have to second this. The paint job is amazing, but for me, the wings are just too much. But don't let that stop you from doing what you want to do, tons of other people are loving the paintjob and the wings!

Resin Printer (minaitures) is a 4K printer with one of the largest build volumes available for a resin printer (192mm x 120mm x 245mm) with an amazing .01mm resolution! This professional printer is one of the best resin printers on the market!

FDM Printer (terrain) also has one of the largest build volumes available for an FDM printer (400mm x 400mm x 450mm) and has an amazing ,05mm build accuracy.

Well I am working on three more that will not have wings. I will put them up on dakka when they are finished. Please check them out when you see an update. I am glad you like the paintjob too!

I don't care for the wings whatsoever. They don't mesh with the design of the Knight, they aren't integrated in any creative or interesting way, and they're just sort of... there. It's a shame since the paintjob is positively lovely.

Well at least you liked the paintjob! Sorry the wings were not your cup of tea...
