Just after some feedback on the following IG list for a small local tourney. We don't have much IG around so thought I'd give it a crack for something different:

HQ
CCS, 4 x Plas, Chimera - 165

Troops
10 x Vets, 3 x Melta, Chimera - 155
10 x Vets, 3 x Melta, Chimera - 155
Inf Pl:
PCS, 4 x Flamer (ride in vendetta) - 50
Inf Sq - 50
Inf Sq - 50

Fast
Vendetta - 130

Hvy
LR Demolisher - 165
LR Executioner, Plas Cannon sponsons - 230

ADL with QG - 100

1250

Inf Sqd(s) man the QG behind the ADL, PCS with flamers fly in Vendetta for backfield campers/late game line breaker. Russes, CCS and Vets kill stuff.

Very solid list at 1250. Enough tanks to cause people problems killing them, and a nice variety of guns to deal with any opposing units.

The only thing I would think about would be trading the demolisher for a third melta vet squad, but even then I'm not certain that would be better.

I actually can't really come up with any improvements that wouldn't completely change the list (and aren't necessarily improvements either).

So well done, and you could do very well with this list.

My advice would be to drop somethings (I don't know what because you did make a very solid list) and try to add Marbo. Imo, he's always worth it. But if you don't you'll still have a very solid list. Kudos on the list.

I tried to get Marbo in there as he looks quite fun to use but just couldn't find the 65 points..

If I did take him I would likely drop:

1. The Plas Cannon sponsons on the Russ - 40pts
2. Plas gun in CCS - 15pt
3. 2 x Flamers in PCS - 10pts

Imo he is worth that. But I'd drop one melta to keep the flamers. This is just me but I feel like 2 extra flamers being dropped in the back field can be game changing. This is just thoughts so do what ever you think is right.

As It has been said. pretty solid list. I personally do not like the demolisher with ADL guard, for 165 points, it might shoot twice with a good chance it may do nothing at all, i would personally prefer the Battle cannon, as your executioner/CCS is plenty AP2. Save 15 points on the Demolisher to the Standard LM, and take the sponsons off, there you have Marbo, with your Demo Charge which imo is better than the demolisher. As always personal preference:-)
