Good report! Always feels good to see a beast pack get beaten through tactics.

If you can lead a deathstar around by the nose, you can blunt it to some extent.

Very nice game. Good job pulling the beast star around the board.

Well played mate, amazing battle report. You handled most of the trouble correctly and due to your opponent's mistake of wasting another turn with the beasts locked with the screamers you dominated the board. All hail Be'lakor! Slayer of WK!

Killing is easy. Being politically correct is a pain in the ass...

Yeah. well done on the beast star.

Your enemy definitely makes me question the validity of this fight. He's a good general no doubt, however he doesn't know how to play that list very effectively. Not trying to discredit your win, but I think Rob put it well in the comments section a smarter way to play the list against yours. Regardless, it was a fun matchup and battle report to read, and definitely insightful on how to deal with deathstars as daemons

Hey cut him a break. He made like three mistakes and two didn't actually matter. Even if he had hit and run from the Screamers, he still would have had to come back to get the Daemonettes on turn 3. Exposing the Wraithknight to Be'lakor was a mistake, but that would not have saved it as I had plenty of tools for that job. Deploying the Venom was a mistake, but the deep strike slashing attack from the Screamers catches a lot of people off guard. I would have got first blood from the Serpent anyway.

Also, you can't expect me to play every game against the likes of Alan Barjamovich or Adam Tricola. There are very few players at that level, and they don't live here. Odds are, most people who face a beaststar will probably be getting someone who doesn't run it as well as Rob or Adam might.

Great write-up and a great game by Chaos. I actually feel envious. My deathstar of choice, which is also the army I brought to the ATC last year - Draigowing - feels like such a tortoise in this race of rabbit deathstars. Well, at least I can say that I beat the Seer Council Deldar with them once.

Loving the narrative you forged.
Fun game to read, awesome to see CSM primary, and props on the win!
