Hi all
i came across this list on internet:
- Librarian on TDA with force axe; Blood Lance and SoS
- Corbulo
- 5x TH/SS termi
all on LRC
- 5 man ASM in LR
- 5 man ASM in LR
- Vindicator
- Vindicator
- Stormraven (MM and LC)
----
1850 points
however the problem is: 10 scoring unit. Ok they are inside a big AV14 4HP box, and in 1/6 this is not a problem (well... 2/6 'cause in "big guns never tire" also veichle and vindicator/raven can score) but they are still very few scoring units
so i'm wondering: how can be tweaked?
first idea is removing termies for a 10 men ASM in LRR, adding hand flamer and flamer to LRR squad, and melta+plasmagun to LR, and also 3 SP (one for each Lando)
second idea is removing termies for a 8 man DC with reclusiarch termies
what do you think?

The lack of scoring models is huge a huge thing.
You'll need at least third Assault Squad, fourth to be sure.
I would consider the third unit to be Sniper Scouts behind an ADL.
Take Quad-gun for lighter vehicles/flyers or cheaper comms relay so that your Raven will come on time.

I feel it is not a problem. You have 2 vindicators, a th/ss unit in a raider and a stormraven. If they are shooting your assault squad raiders then the rest of your army will be utterly wrecking face. Don't disembark them until they need to score.
To tweak I would say either take FoD, unleash rage or sword instead of lance power. Lance very rarely achieves anything due to needing to pass 4 rolls (and thats WITH auto hitting!). Automatically Appended Next Post: Also I would advocate an assault cannon over a lascannon on your raven. Mathmatically it is better (or in some rare cases on par) against absolutely everything!

Agreed about the powers. Fear of Darkness has won me a couple of games.
Divination is a bit better, but if I would take powers from codex I would recommend Unleash Rage.
Gives you preferred enemy and Thunder Hammers + re-rolling ones = awesomeness.

Fun? Sure. But I can get more models in my GK army...Given that I play both BA and GK, I can tell you that's a very bad thing.
It'd be a fun list, but probably not a terribly viable one as it's too easy to nuke your scoring units.

maybe i would play it at 1950 points, so for 100 point i can put inside a scout sniper squad for third scoring unit
or i can always remove termies and goes for another assault squad (even maybe increasing other assault squad). But, as noted, assault squad should stay inside LR and exit only on the last turn to score objective, and termies are a need to force him shoot something else than assault squad/ LR on objective...

I think scouts w/ snipers and cloaks going to ground behind ruin for 2+ will guarantee some objective. Plus they aren't that big of a threat so they won't get shot at much.

i'm playing in a campaign, so points are fixed (and a bonus based on territories)
'cause i lose always, at the moment i can play at 1850 vs almost everyone, and up to 1950 vs some of them
in a couple of month probably i should be able to play at escalation level u_u

mmmmhhh ok
and what if i put scout on reserve and outflank with them?
in second turn (or more) maybe one raider are out (i play with very lucky guys -_- ) and scout could be more useful
