Is anyone else more nervous over the fact that Escalation + Stronghold Assault in the Main Rule Book will add an extra 75-100 bucks to the cost... I don't see it happening just because they already have those books in print. Whats next, adding Supplements to main Codexes for a Super Deluxe Edition?

And darn... I knew I shoulda printed out those FAQS when I had the chance. What does this do to Vector Strikes?

What does this do to EVERYTHING? I mean when someone questions a rule, you can't go back to the FAQ/Errata that changes anything. You can only go buy what is in front of you now.

If they put the rules for superheavies and all the updated building/fortification rules in the BRB, but leave things like the fortification networks and actual lords of war out, they integrate the rules without invalidating the SA or Escalation books.

Don't worry guys, FAQs will be back as digital downloads. They will offer you the opportunity to pay to fix their typos.

Don't worry. I'm sure FAQ/errata will return as a hardcover book (and digital book or maybe just digital), maybe included as part of 6.5/7th edition - then GW can release new FAQ/errata books to include the ones needed for recent releases since almost everything GW releases needs FAQ/errata. It will be another cash cow - people will grumble and lash out, a few will walk away, but as long as piles still buy it - another GW win!

Overall, removing FAQs and the Errata therein, is a pretty big deal, and the general response from GW of 'oh, they might be back' is irritating.

So there can't be different threads about different issues? Also, do simple factual statements like "FAQs are gone" or "the price of Gazgul Thraka has increased to $40" qualify as complaining?

Because this thread is (mostly) about the fact that FAQs have been removed from GW's website. Until the other day, there were FAQs, but now for whatever reason, they have been removed from GW entirely.

I guess I could just get up and sell all of my models now and never grace the 40k forums again, since that seems be the only option you are giving me.

If you're going to gripe about people's griping can you at least bother to use proper capitalization? Christ, you're not 5 years old anymore. There is just no excuse.

The complainer complaining about complaints, aside we'll have to just play the "wait and see" game to see if FAQs come back I suppose.

and yes, this thread is pointless and has been flagged because all we have to do is wait. so many people on here are so eager to pull the trigger on anything GW does. they could.halve the price of everything and people would still whine.
