Ah that sucks. After seeing some of the stuff you've been throwing out there Battlezones wise Grim, I may have to step things up a notch over here with mine. A lot of it is just sat there doing nothing currently!

Good call, not known most landing pads to have stairs mostly just ramps or a small drop lol

Fancy land raider, kind of like that tank for as much as I don't love 40k stuff in general anymore.
The DZ scenery is great 
Looks like a fairly playable board as-is, I really need to downsize my current landing pad and add a tower like yours, I've seen other people do those too and they're just awesome.
Good work! Gonna paint them soon?

At some point yeah lol. Got a pretty hefty queue of painting to do lol.
There's another set of stairs on the front (facing toward the ground level pad). Didn't like the idea of using x3 triangle pieces to make a double width staircase so just chopped the plugs off x2 staircases and stuck them together. Works much better that way.

I'd have to see it but I think I know what you mean and I did that too. If you put a triangle in the middle it makes it waaa'aaay harder to put models on them too cause of the narrower-than-a-base spot to stand.
Those little micro clips that don't seem to have much of a use? You can stick them in the back of the top of the stair piece to make the stairs come straight off the side of a building. Sometimes they don't line up well with details on the building, but it's another way to use them.

Yeah that's what I was getting at lol. Was kinda tired at the time of posting! I'll be posting a pic of it at some point today. I was fiddling about yesterday with my tanks- you can easily move a Rhino-chassis tank on to the ground level pad. Land Raider is a little big for it though. I'll probably pick up another LZ kit to make a xl size one for a large vehicle drop off point

Just a few things done yesterday, I'd put up a front shot of the Land Raider but my Cam-Fu was crappy last night so it came out all blurred.
I'm not sure how I got Leadbelcher all over the tank but it works in my favour for battle damage IMO. I don't know how well it shows up in the photos but in the LR Left photo, one of the side panel appears to have 'dimples' (above the sponson and exit hatches). I had originally intended to fill that with Green Stuff but I've decide to leave it alone and just have battle damage there (say from an angry xenos beastie?)

It looks good. If you are gonna play, you might want a little more in the bottom right corner, 3x3 empty square is no friend to things that well.. don't want to die I like all of the structures though quite a bit.
What are you using for ramps between the buildings? Almost looks like 40k cities of death floor panels but it's probably something else?

Got it in one Grim- they're spare floor sections from the Shrine of the Aquila kit. I had considered putting another building there, but there's a gun emplacement inside the building with the dish on top. It was a desperate last stand by the colony's militia to fend off the Plague in that sector, but they were overwhelmed. Now containment protocols are in effect, a lucky strike team might be able to use the building's extra firepower...

Ahh huh. I guess thats why I recognized them but didn't at the same time, I only had a manufactorum set. May need to go dig it up now though!
They actually gave the gun that comes with the fortification sprues stats and rules for using, they're pretty nasty but sorta hard to get them to work and I don't think they shoot down well.

That scenery looks really good Never really had any scenery you built up from GW or other companies apart from one like oil refinery like structure used for Space Marines.
But going to aim to getting some scenery from GW and built up round with other materials

Just a teeny tiny update with big big results... Locked in my Creature Caster pledge this evening- so Novemberish/Decemberish time I shall be receiving some rather badass 'Uge Monsters . In the form of: A Warrior Daemon, Mountain Dragon and a Zombie Dragon! The latter of which kind of makes a mockery of GW's Zombie Dragon size wise. I'm hoping CreatureCaster won't disappoint and it shouldn't for what I've paid out for these beasts.
So- for those of you not familiar with Creature Caster, here's some 3D sculpts of these awesome dollies..

The Zombie Dragon and Warrior Demon are for my brothers Undead and Chaos Daemons/Chaos Marines armies. The Mountain Dragon will be a mount for my Dark Elf Dread Lord. The GW dragons are too wiry for my liking. I may be inundated with Dragons now though with Heresy's Emperor Dragon and Mantic's Tyrant of Halpi coming up lol.
