The model is not finished yet, we've passed along to the sculptor that the hands could use a bit of bulking up. It should end up with more cartoonish hands to hold the hammer.

I don't have a use for it, but I actually like that mini quite a bit more than the human ones.

Might have another friend convinced on pledging.

Hopefully I'll have a group all ready by the time I move back to the BR.

That's some good looking stuff you have there Cyp! Glad to see things chugging along, especially the AI deck options. I don't have the time for a game now, but I think there will be some EFT in my future!

Also, I nostalgiad a bit seeing that grey bare resin dwarf in the earlier pic Instinctively started looking for the bubble in his elbow and beard.

Both of those are awesome.

Thanks Wehr, OTLG's resin casting wouldn't have been possible without you.

Brush a little baby powder in there and no more of those annoying little surface bubbles.*

So Digclaw put out the call that he was going to teach his buddy how to play Endless, well I'm just a tad bit closer to him than Misk or Cyp, so I figured it might be a nice little road trip down to the Columbus area. So I grabbed Ramos Asura and his brothers, loaded up my car and went down to Digclaw's FLGS.

I started out by giving Digclaw and one of Ramos's brothers a refresher course/demo of the game.

About halfway through the fight, each party had a 1C support model and an archer left.

The epic showdown of archer vs archer. In the end, the archer won. Well, Digclaw's archer did.

So next we did a 4 player Endless game, Digclaw and Ramos vs his brothers. 6 crystals per player, for two 12 Crystal parties.

It started off innocently enough, just some good old fashioned staredowns while a Gunsmith moves forward.

The gels imprint the Earth Troll's ability to create rock tokens and begin spreading the madness of the "Dread King Bloop".

After a few turns it begins to look like a regular old minefield out there... Not a lot of potshots being taken, except the Gunsmiths taking out the other gunsmith.

The Gunsmiths take out one of the Dragoons, but fortunately for them, her buddy had a Holy Feather and brought her back to life

As you can see, the rock tokens (noted by the blue dice) are beginning to take over the board. And no one wants to close within 2 squares of those things.

The brothers begin to fight back, slowly taking out the Dread King Bloop's minions, hoping to stem the tide of explosive rocks.

That's about where I stopped taking pictures, as we were running out of time and turns. In the end, the Earth Troll detonated everything, and while some of the plucky adventurers may have survived, none will know for certain.

New Update

So after a bit of discussion with some backers and some not currently backers, we are considering changing a few things around, and we want to get your opinion.

Currently, the base goal includes 10 Miniatures. 7 of which are non-unique for gameplay purposes, and 3 are unique. Additionally 2/3 of the stretch goals we've revealed are unique characters. A number of fans have expressed disinterest in unique models being part of the campaign. We are considering moving these unique characters to further stretch goals, and bringing in more non-unique options in the base goal and early stretch goals.

Here is the Current Base Goal:

And this is what we are considering changing it to:

Proposed Change to Base Goal:

So we'd be moving Ahm, Rin, and Yulea to stretch goals and move up the Rhapsodist, Berserker, and Fire Troll to the base goal.
Additionally the first set of Stretch Goals would be changed as such:

If we go with this change, we'll get Noah & Heath to finish up the concept art for these units in the next few days.

So now, we need to know what you all think. Do you like this change? Do you hate this change? Would you rather we do something else? Please let us know in the comments or PMs. We've created a straw poll and ask that you take a moment to vote. We will review the results/comments/messages tonight, and report on a decision tomorrow.

Is that the proper picture for the Rhapsodist? Is his instrument "interpretive dance?"

As much as I like Ahm, I think the non-uniques are a better draw for more new pledges.

No matter what the outcome is, after the campaign we'll run another poll to determine the most wanted models of what didn't fund as part of the KS to determine what gets sculpted in our regular production slots. We'll then also offer those models to backers at a discount, as we did with the Minor Demonite, Dark Knight, Lyra Cosine, and Dragoon [F] last time.

I agree with this, although I think they were intending that you could use your pledge on all the things unlocked from the first Kickstarter as well.

Just to be a pain, why is it a Troll, Fire instead of a Fire Troll? Is it supposed to be a normal Troll that caught on fire instead of a Troll made out of fire?

Is there a reason to make the other troll a fire troll instead of the air troll?

I mean, look at this guy:

Any chance of a poll to see which the backers prefer? If neither is sculpted, it seems like if anything it'd be easier to have the air troll done, as he's a bit skinnier.

Here's hoping, he's the one I really love and if he made it in I wouldn't be able to resist anymore!

Because I derped when doing a bit of Copy Pasta. The Trolls are all listed as 'Troll, Element' in the book to keep them together in alpha; but are 'Element Troll' on the cards.

Because I like Fire?

Its actually about the same cost to get either of them sculpted, as they'll be around the same height.

Also Air Troll got moved up as well.

I kinda like the Troll that caught himself on fire though... Flaming Trolls would make great weapons

Why do I imagine RiTides will always be playing 12 C games with his party just being the 4 Trolls?

Yeah, I have 2 earth trolls already so that's not far off . Although I just got them because I like the figures.

But seriously, do you guys here prefer the Air Troll over the Fire Troll?

I know the sculpt doesn't always match the art, but the art of that air troll just rocks!

I will be tempted to pledge for a pair of trolls and a Mandragora if the Air Troll makes it in... I've been waiting because this was a very tight month with too many mini purchases made... and also keeping my fingers crossed for my favorite troll, of course

So post your preference guys- air troll or fire troll? If I'm wrong and people prefer the fire troll, of course it's better to go with that, but if everyone loves the air one then it might make sense to go with it instead, since you're still considering the change-up

No, no, no, we don't need ugly trolls, instead we need more Lunarian variants and delicious yaoi (male rhapsodist)

That's where's the moneys at.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Actually all joking aside I'd agree with RTides about having the air troll instead of the fire troll, regardless of which one people think is objectively better the air troll is more
recognizable as a troll when compared to the water troll which will be unlocked at the base goal, they look a lot more similar after all.

People will be more likely to associate the two as one army and thus aim to purchase both as a thematic force, its basically a "gotta catch em all" type
mindset which is very predominate in KS campaigns.

I prefer the Deep Troll.

What can I say, I like aquatics and swamp things.

Now if you'll excuse, the mail truck just passed and there's a package in the box.
