You know, like Chapter House is it? I think I overheard some people at my wargames club talking about this company that does really good tau, dark eldar and sisters of battle models which are better than GW stuff. Wasn't able to ask him as was too busy having my dark eldar get pasted by necrons . But has anyone heard anything about a company like this or knows what the fella was on about?

Raging Heroes is the only company I've seen talk about doing models that were clearly meant to be Sisters, but they haven't gone anywhere with the concept.

I haven't found anything remotely close. Heck, GW doesn't do anything with sisters so I doubt other companies would, even though they're missing anoppurtunity to corner a market that geedubs is ignoring.

Also, check out my history blog: Minimum Wage Historian, a fun place to check out history that often falls between the couch cushions.

There will be a kickstarter with a full range coming, but it'll probably be a year or two.

Oh, I certainly vote with my dollar, but the problem is that that is not enough. The problem with the 'vote with your dollar' response is that it doesn't take into account why we're not buying the product. I want to enjoy 40k enough to buy back in. It was my introduction to traditional games, and there was a time when I enjoyed it very much. I want to buy 40k, but Gamesworkshop is doing their very best to push me away, and simply not buying their product won't tell them that.

Weren't the basically shown of in 2012 though? Heck GW might end up with plastic Sisters out by then.

This place has a few very good stand-in Sister models. Though they're not really enough to build a whole army out of.

And really, the Raging Heroes stuff is nothing I am too thrilled about if they do something for Sisters. If their Toughest Girls in the Galaxy line is anything to judge it by, it would give us a Sisters army that is about 10% really cool characters and 90% weirdly fetishized models.

Svarog has some intersting stuff, plus they're in the Ukraine so already they have my good will.

As for the original question, the only thing that came to my mind was the Warzone Valykries. They're armed with spears but have the same female paladines in space vibe.

Of course your buddies may have been talking about a recaster site, but we don't support such things.

And we'd get them some time in 2025...

Huh, I have not seen the Svarog stuff before, this is pretty good. I really dig that first picture.

My only issue with that site is my firewall blocked it right out of the gate which made me a touch nervous.

Raging Heroes will be your only hope, once they start their kickstarter.

If Sisters get an assassin or a close combat unit, Heldorado and Warmachine might have one model for it:

Warmachine also has one ecclesiarchical faction, Menoth.

Those would actually make quite acceptable death cult assassins for a sisters army.

Huh, some of these are awesome. Wish I knew about the Female Inquisitor before I bought an alternative, it looks great.

Here's all of the SoB-esque minis on there then, in case you or anyone else are still nervous about going on there:
Spoiler:

As I said, they're all very nice. I would very much consider buying one to be a Canoness or Sister Superior in my army, someday.

Yes. Conclaves can take Death Cult Assassins.

They do. It is called Ecclesiarcal conclave, and it is like Inquisitorial warband light, with only DCA, Crusaders and arcoflagellant. Here is my conclave :

I cannot play it in GW stores, because third-party miniature. Never mind the stores do not have any Sisters in stock anyway…

You need to look up the concept art they posted for the Sisters of Eternal Mercy. It's entirely unlike the TGG series.

It is best to be a pessimist. You are usually right and, when you're wrong, you're pleasantly surprised.

Dreamforge will soon be releasing a squad of 10 Black Widows which may tickle your fancy. They'll be similar in scale to Ada, the lady here:

As is usually the case these days the "stand-in" models are superior to the "official" ones.

My Armies:
5,500pts
2,700pts
2,000pts
