I was having an argument with a friend and he think Hormagaunts are taller than Space Marines because of the models, and after I said that it was Hero scale I tried to find some art which showed the true height of Hormagaunts but have yet to find any..
Help me win please

They are about the size of a very large dog, if I recall.

If you made it actually stand up and down rather than stretch forward it would be significantly taller than a man. It is bigger than the largest dog.

As it is it's head is further down than a human's, perhaps it is at 120 cm above the ground?

Aye, in that regard it is taller but its standing height is shorter than a man.

Maybe a small horse?

How high is a Hormagaunt? How low is a Lictor?

The scale is off with regard to the 28mm Heroic miniatures. Humans and Space Marines are the same height model-wise.

The following is all rough and frankly, I'm not that worried if it's not 100% accurate.

Space Marines are about 8ft tall.
Humans about 5ft 10 inches tall

Assuming they increased the human models size so it's not a silly little thing compared to the Space Marine (easier to model, build and play with) and assuming the Space Marine was scaled down to human size for the sake of gameplay..

Hormagaunts stand (according to comfortable, natural pose) between half and two thirds the height of a human. Standing tall, they match the height of a human.

Some good reference images.

As an aside, I like that Eldar's "oh shi-" look as the Ravener pops up. "Clevuh guuuurl!" lol

Barbecue.

Most nids like their guardsmen with Barbecue Sauce.

Sorry, couldn´t help it

I wouldn't use that book, it is full of some very stupid errors.
Also the size probably is going to vary depending on the Hive Fleet and upgrades the Hormagant has received.
