Corpses can't fight back, plus the Emperor in his full power almost lost against the Void Dragon and could barely contain, not even kill him. Plus reawakened Necrons etc =)

The Emperor is dead and while his spirit might fend off the warp, the warp is of zero interest to the C'tan.

Except this game is written by humans, so obviously the Emperor is going to defend earth from the dragon, then ascend the godhood.

I would like to be some rich noble on a a forgotten paradise of an agriworld far from any site or conflict of importance. Because anything else has untold potential for violence and unimaginable terror.

Hmm,i'd either go with an Inquisitor so i could kill everyone i dislike and if anyone fights back they're heretics or with a Blood Angel,i always liked their fluff.
(i'm aware those 2 are totally opposite of eachother)

Perhaps not, but since GW seems to subsist off sadness and pain, I can't rule it out.

Uh, the Emperor whipped the arse of the Void Dragon while wearing platemail and wielding an iron sword. Care to try again?

Give me Little House on the Planet Prairie and I'd be fine. Maybe Orks or Dark Eldar or something would show up... we'd try to fight them, maybe we'd die, maybe we'd win, who knows? Gotta go out some time. Just don't let 'em take you alive.

If not that? Give me Tau, Earth Caste. I'd be retired at this point.
