So as the title says, would this be viable do you think, and would it be fluffy at all? As I love the DKOK models but like the ubtility of dropvets and the like, not sure if this should go into tactics or not sorry mods Xoxo.

Fluff-wise, it would of course be viable, as they are both IG regiments. I don't know if they'd get along well however, as they have vastly different attitudes to life and war.

I can see a small detachment of Elysian troops Grav-chuting into a city the DKOK are sieging with demo charges and special weapons, in order to take out mortors or other such things to reliieve to DKOK

Other regiments don't really like being in the field with Krieg troops.

But if they were ordered too they would be deployed together.

I've considered something similar myself, and fluff-wise, I'd just say this: the DKOK are doing what they do best, besieging the city/fort/whatever, but are failing to break through. Meanwhile, the Elysians have been assigned, either by a General or Inquisitor, to drop in a take out a High Value Target within the enemy lines. The distraction of the Elysians allows the DKoK to break through, and boom, battle!

Tactically, I think it would work nicely, the DKOK are an hammer while the Elysians are a scalpel, taking out valuable targets while the DK kill indiscriminately.

I'd say it would be fun. Neither list has a reputation for being too strong/weak, and personally, I'd love to see more Forge World and different stuff on the table.
