Hey guys, I'm wondering who the best allies would be to run with my space wolves. I'll need some anti air, and fire support from something more sturdy than long fangs. I plan on using drop pod GH, vindicators and TWC. Any help is appreciated!

IG make the best allies, their FOC chart is just so friendly and they provide such nice cheap scoring bodies, tanks, and firepower.

SW can easily take an allied detachment of 6 Leman Russes in honor of their primarch. Probably wont help with your AA problem, but you can try to table your enemy by turn 2.

I'd definatly go with a IG detachment.

go with a tank commander, 1 squad of veterns 1-3 Hydras amd 1-3 valks/vendettas.

it covers all the bases, the tank commander can gear out some russes to provide fairly solid heavy support. the veterns are basicly required, and I'm sure you'll be able to find a use for a 60 point squad of canon fodder. the hydras and vendettas should cover your air cover plenty

I don't know about the best in game but I plan on getting some white scars to ally with my wolves. Fits the fluff plus white scars are good
