So I got one, figured i'd keep it in the package and maybe resell down the road since I dont play SM. Thing is he came with a code that lets you order another exclusive space marine captain . . . for $30. Do these limited edition type models usually sell well? I can't decide if I should shell out the $30 for the weird web offer. I figure it's gw making up for the free figure by charging you 30 for the next one so it averages to 15 apc.

I mean, if you really want the model, but if you are looking to resell it, you will have to sit on it for a few years, maybe more.

The issue is that everyone and their mother will have the same idea about it, and places like Ebay will be flooded with them in the coming months.

It would be cool just to say you have it, but do not expect to make any money, unless you can find someone who can't shell out the $30, but will just pay for the model.

err.yes, they sell well.

usually for 40 dollars (incl. shipping).

so you can sell both for 80 dollars

check out the prices on ebay for gamesday miniatures. they average around 40 dollars, 30 if you're lucky. I got a gamesday 2001 kroot shaper for 24 pounds incl. shipping and considered myself lucky to have made a bargain.

You just have to wait till GW isnt selling them anymore.

GW is scared of girls. Why do you think they have so much trouble sculpting attractive female models? Because girls have cooties and the staff at GW don't like looking at them for too long because it makes them feel funny in their naughty place.
