So, I got this Tyrant conversion off ebay, not hints or clues on how to play it. So, logically you assume its played as a tyrant. The issue is, its WAY to over-equipped and to large to be a tyrant. So I figured I either make my self some custom rules (May be hard, I dont know how to bring a custom unit to a game) or just use it as a Carnifex (I mean, it COULD pass, right? Like, its a hive fleet experimenting with a new life form, a superior breed of tyrant, and it some how feths up and severs its Synaptic connection while keeping it alive and strong?)

It is about on the size with a flyrant and based right. But yeah it is over equipped for anything currently with rules. It might have passed as a Dominatrix.

If it was not for the HVCs it might have worked as a Haspurex

Hmm, how would these rules seem then? Not too over-powered, right?

Stats: Same as Swarmlord but with 10 WS
3 sets of Scything Talons: 15 points
Rending Claws: 5 points
Heavy Venom Cannon: 20 points
Stranglethorn cannon: 15 points
Bone Mace: 15 points
Adrenal Glands:15 points
Maw-Claws of Tyrax:10 points
Permanently Blind: Must take an initiative test at the start of every turn, if it fails they are reduced to half BS till there next turn.
Special Rules: Same as Swarm Lord but replace Swarm Leader rule with "Endless Hail", choose 1 unit within 18" of the Slasher Beast and it gets an extra attack
Alternativly, you may swap that rule (Even in the middle of a game) for "Kill it swiftly), where you may allow your enemy one extra attack against the Slasher Beast on any unit of your enemys choosing
Doesnt sound helpful? Well, it sure could make for some interesting opportunities
Total:385
+5 Melee attacks (Because he has 5 sets of melee weapons, so he gets 5 dual wielding attacks, right?)

Prices based on swarmlord base price +Tyrant upgrade prices (Except for the Scything talons and the Bonemace, the Scything talons where free but I gave them a random price, and the bone mace is a Carnifex morph.)

you never gain more than 1 extra attack from having more than 1 close combat weapon, ever.

Hmm, I guess I misunderstood the rules quite a bit more than I thought. What the hells the point of two sets of CC weapons then?

Walkers do, actually.

Tyranids gain their bonuses from two sets of weapons, not two weapons.

What walkers gain more than 1 attack from having more than 2 weapons?

If your talking about a Deff dread, your using an out of date codex because its not true for any 6th edition codex's.

It wont be allowed in the updated ork codex either.

That sucks, but I guess its reasonable. Are there any models that even have two sets of Melee Weapons (That actually count as duel?)
Either way, what the hell do I use this thing for?

IMHO its too cool to dismantle, as its infintly better than anything I could personally create (I suck and modeling and painting as it stands) and could reasonably be my centerpiece (Till I can make my own, at least)

Way to large to be proxied as a Carnifex, it could pass as a Trygon Prime with the Miasma Cannon.

A Tyranid weapon set is 1 weapon, so both are correct.

I have a peanut allergy. It's really inconsiderate.

I suppose it could proxy in as a Trygon prime, but I cant see this thing digging (The Scything Talons may actually be intended for that...). It actually makes some sense now that I give it some thought, the Scything talons exist just to aid in digging, the Claws proxy in as a set of Scything talons, and it has a Miasma Cannon. Its the correct scale as well. If not that, than feth it, he's an overgrown Swarm lord clone.
