Hi again! Okay. I've decided to build the 293rd Landsharks (my fluff army), which is a mostly mechanised regiment of heretic guardsmen.
In this army, I have intentionally sacrificed capability for fluff in some areas (such as my lack of a CCS, and instead using a Commissar), but I have tried to balance that by going a little over the top on Leman Russes, so it should be okay.

In summary this army is essentially 42 men, a cheapo Vendetta that is (btw) utterly legal still, and 6 HS units... In one force org...

Spoiler:

Primary Detachment [Astra Militarum]:

HQ:
-Lord Commissar w/Carapace Armour, Power Sword [85 pts]

Troops:
-Veteran Squad w/Bolt Pistol, Melta Bombs, Chimera [131 pts]
-Veteran Squad w/Chimera [125 pts]
-Veteran Squad [60 pts]
-Veteran Squad [60 pts]

Fortification:
-Aegis Defence Line with Flak Gun [100 pts]

Heavy Support:
-Leman Russ Executioner w/HB Sponsons, Extra Armour [175 pts]
-Leman Russ Exterminator w/Lascannon, HB Sponsons, Extra Armour [165 pts]
-Manticore w/Extra Armour [170 pts]

Allied Detachment [Armoured Battle Group]:

HQ:
-LRBT CCT [160 pts]

Troops:
-LRBT [150 pts]

Fast Attack:
-Vendetta [130 pts]

Heavy Support:
-Medusa Siege Gun w/Bastion Breacher Shells [140 pts]

Inquisitorial Detachment:

HQ:
-Ordo Malleus Inquisitor w/Power Armour, Power Fist, Combi-flamer, Mastery 1 [88 pts]
-- 3x Servo Skulls [9 pts]

Total: 1748 pts

Any thoughts?

I'm curious, why pick a Malleus inquisitor? I usually find that unless you want him for Terminator Armor and force Thunder Hammers, the other Inquisitors are better. To support shooting, Psycollum is hilariously good against almost every top tier army. In assault, a Xenos Inquisitor with grenades and a priest will make Guardsmen kill Terminators with ease. If he's just for the psychics, then it's kind of moot all the way around anyways.

It was half fluff half tank boost really.

Servo skulls to limit my opponent somewhat, Psychic powers to essentially twin-link one of my tanks per turn,, and keep him near my rear field to defend the ADL and artillery from deepstrikes / fast enemies.

Fair enough, but any inquisitor does that. I was just curious if you had a reason for Malleus specifically.
