Update: $35K Stretch Goal Unlocked! Just a few hundred away from the $40K stretch!!

Hangar 18 Miniatures is putting together a kickstarter for their line of figures based on Bawidamann art. Mainly 54mm scale but some are in 32mm if that's an issue. I pledged for this one mainly because I just can't say no to sculpts of sexy women.

ALL of the art will be available, either as Giclee Canvas Prints or Mouse Pads. You'll get a chance to choose when the surveys go out. All mouspads will be in horizontal format with some added background color. Canvases will be oriented as shown below.



Due to the level of details, not all models will be made to smaller scale. However, we have decided to produce these six models in 32mm size.

The previous KS was canceled before it's time ran through. Unknown reasons.

We wanted to have more sculpts to show folks and we had a lot of feedback about the 32mm minis. We had planned on releasing 32mms after the first Kickstarter shipped, but the grumbling made us rethink that strategy and now we have the new and improved Kickstarter campaign.

While the models themselves do look nice, I am not a fan of the cartoon artwork

Wow! I totally missed that when I looked at the KS'er the other day. I didn't realize there were 32MM models. I am hoping that Tiger Tank Girl and Secret Weapons will fit the scale of DUST:Warfare models. I'd love to have Tiger Tank Girl leaning out of one of my Axis Walkers. Sadly the 2 models I like are both still locked.

I've switched my pledge over to the mini 6 pack now that it's available and has all the stretch goals and stuff.

I bought in but now I want more :( so I foresee upping my pledge.

$15,000.00 stretch goal hit. They also added artwork for a canvas print in the addon section.

The 17.5k stretch goal was unlocked overnight so I've updated the OP to reflect that.

There are a couple of items in the Updates tab that may be worth looking at, including a turntable video of the Aces High model.

Check it out when you get the chance.

They hit the $20,000 stretch goal and added a new pledge level, Deadly Dozen ($325) which probably helped.

They hit 200 backers and a $22,500 mini stretch goal. Basically you get free digital desktop (and mobile) wallpaper and mouse pads / Giclee prints become available as options.

I wish they had more flat 3D types so i could stick it on the side of my Model planes, Tanks or refrigerator !

Most of them look like they'd make great nose art.

These do make great nose art. Instead of models I wish he'd do water transfers.

Its not about cartoon artwork, its the classic look of Pinup girls.

I am in, after I get paid this weekend then.

I'm sure with a good scanner, you can use one of those kits to print out your own waterslide transfers.

I absolutely love this art style.

The only problem is that you need a special printer to do the white parts of the artwork. This is something we are looking at though. We also thought these would look awesome as nose art or small enough to throw on a mech.

There are some really interesting concepts, and I really do like the style of the art. The only thing that is holding me on the fence is that I am not in particular into larger scale figures, and the figures offered in 32 mm right now aren't the ones I really want. But I hope there might be other news regarding that as the campaign moves on.

3 days left. Less than $800 from the $30K goal. I am hoping they get there, I pledged at the mini 6 pack level and I'm hoping to get the surprise 32mm model. Now is the time if you've been waiting till the last moment.

And the mystery bonus is a 32mm Flying Tiger Mascot! I am rather psyched about that. I wonder what the mystery unlock is at 40k? Considering what is coming out next week maybe a pinup Inquisitor? lol (likely not, but it would be funny).
