It seems Halo 5 will be a departure from all the other main-series games. Multiple playable characters is an idea I really don't like (the main games should be about Chief, it's his story after all) and for some reason, the fact the game has a title other than just Halo 5 bugs me.
Because we haven't had multiple characters before right? Oh wait, Halo 2, arbiter.
And this is why I need a new brain and should think before being angry at random things. Still, I hated the Arbiter missions, so I'm not surprised I forgot them.

And, of course, ODST (which had an awesome storyline, imo), though admittedly that wasn't a Master Chief game.

Yeah, I was only talking about the Main games. But ODST was indeed a great, and criminally underrated, game

Not sure if this has been mentioned already, but apparently the only online play is cooperative for Halo 1-4 and Competitive for Halo 2 Anniversary.

Halo 2, imo, had one of the best campaigns in terms of universe development and storytelling. Seeing things from the Arbiter's side was great, I don't get the hate.
Books, shows and movies frequently follow more than 1 main character.

I suppose I just didn't like the idea of not playing as the 'good guy'. That said, The Arbiter is a completely badass character, I just didn't like the 'feel' of playing as the Covenant. Probably doesn't help that I was stuck on one of his missions for several years...

I'm personally really interested in Agent Locke and how his missions will play out. I think it'll be pretty cool - though there'll definitely be haters.
