Hi folks, there's humble bundle sale on for the next 2 days.

There's a number of games on sale, however a couple of ones to note are:

Space Hulk for £4.49 - This is cheaper than I've seen it on Steam Sales.
Batman Arkham Origins for £6.89 - Also the cheapest I've seen it and it's a relatively new game.
Sleeping Dogs for £3.74 - I'm vaguely aware of this, is it supposed to be good?

I think the general concensus on it was somewhat mixed. But I personally liked it a lot. It's an open world game like GTA, but the focus is on martial arts-style fighting somewhat similar to the Arkham games. Though instead of Batman's assortment of gadgets, you have various martial arts combos you can perform. Firearms exist, but they're not nearly as common as they are in most of these sorts of games. The other elements of the game will be familiar to anyone who's played a game like GTA or Saints Row - i.e. collectibles, street races, etc...

If you had an Xbox and Live account Sleeping Dogs was the free game a month or two ago.

Amidst the mists and coldest frosts he thrusts his fists against the posts and still insists he sees the ghosts.

As has it and all of its DLC been on sale on Steam for a similar price previously. But a sale's a sale I suppose.

Sleeping Dogs was a great game. Big enough to be an open world but not too huge as to be daunting (like Just Cause 2). Varied enough in landscape to be memorable as well (unlike, say, inFamous and Prototype, where everything looks the same).

Blisteringly good combat system that takes what Arkham City did right and puts a martial arts spin on it (rather than gadgets). Decent gunplay/cover mechanics (but guns don't play a huge part until the end of the game), and driving that's like most games - the cars handle like they have another heavier car strapped to their roof (to borrow from Yahtzee). Bikes are fine though, and I spend most of the time driving those.

On the PC the graphics are crazy-good.

[EDIT]: Wow. Just Cause 2 and Tomb Raider are both cheaper than Bro Force. Amazing...

I didn't really like the Space Hulk game... If the Batman game that's onsale is the one I'm thinking of it's well worth getting.

The Batman game is the one that came out late last year. The plot setup is that it's Christmas Eve, Black Mask has put a large bounty on Batman's head, and eight assassins have arrived to claim it.
