Subject: 2000 pt. tournament with named character

I have an upcoming tournament, which as stated in the subject is 2000 points and I have to bring a named character. This tournament will be using 6th edition rules, my biggest fears this game is dealing with tyranids and a cam army with lots of either hell drakes or abaddon.
HQ:
Nemesor Zhandrek
Destroyer Lord
-mindshackle scarabs, sempiternal weave
Royal Court
-3 crypteks of the storm with voltaic staffs
-2 crypteks of despair with abyssal staffs
Elites
2 squads of deathmarks with night scythes
Troops
3 squads of warriors in night scythes
Fast Attack
6 wraiths
-3 whipcoils
Heavy Support
2 annihilation barges
The goal is to put the 3 stormteks with the warriors and the despairteks with the death marks The d. lord will go with the wraiths to possibly deep strike if my opponent deep strikes. This leaves me at 1785 points and I am not sure what to do with the other points, I was thinking a spider with fabricator array to possibly fix my barges or a unit of warriors with a ghost ark and a harbinger of destruction with eldritch lance and take a cryptek away from the nightsycthe warriors, or possibly move one of the stormteks to the ghost ark and give him lightning field. Also again, this is using 6th edition. Any advice would be very much welcomed.

Did you miss something out? The list above doesn't have any Ghost arks.
It looks like you are going for a slightly modified wraithwing, so your extra points should go to another unit of wraiths.
I personally wouldn't deep strike wraiths. As Jump infantry and with wraithflight, you can get to wherever you most places you want faster and be able to assault sooner if you start on the board.
Re dealing with Nids, you have 7 tesla destructors which will deal with the horde, deathmarks for wounding on a 4+ (2+ for the marked unit).
If you don't have more wraiths, chuck in a couple of squads of scarabs for a fearless tarpit (remember that Z can give them furious strike).

The ghost ark would be added with a 5 man unit to fill in those last 215 pts, and unfortunately I do not have any more wraiths. Dealing with the tyranids my biggest problem is the skyblight formation to give my oppponent way to many fmcs, which last tournament his 4 fmcs killed all 5 fliers and 2 anni. barges in a single turn with the haywire missiles not allowing saves. Thanks for the advice, maybe I can borrow some wraiths from a friend.

Wait..what? Why did the haywire not allow saves?
You could take a CCB - then you can take all the haywire hits on the overlord.
What additional models do you have?

Regarding the haywire, he said since it was an ability instead of normal rolling for damaging vehicles, it did not allow a jink. This is one of those guys who has been playing since rt and he will rules lawyer forever, so unless you have pages bookmarked it is pointless to argue. For other models than listed I have 3 spyders, bunch of warriors, 15 immortals a few ghost arks and 2 ctans. We are not allowed forge world rules or dataslates

I see........actually, no I don't. However, suggest you take Imotekh and tell him that as lightning is an ability, he can't have cover saves.
Still, must make Tyranids quite strong!

Have you tried Zandy with a blob of 20 warriors? With ghost ark support it is really difficult for an opponent to manage. However, you'd have to make several adjustments to your list to get that to work.
Pity you dont have scarabs, because those three spyders with scarabs would also be handy.
