This has been discussed in multiple places, but I thought I'd create the topic here to see if there are any other points of view not considered:

Flying Monstrous Creatures have the Jink rule (p. 68 BRB).

There is nothing that I can find (or that anyone has pointed out) that a FMC must be swooping in order to utilize Jink.

Is this issue already decided, or am I missing some rule that would prevent me from doing this?

Yes, they have jink now all the time, just like flyers who go into hover mode.

*goofy maniacal laughter*

And here I thought they nerfed FMC at first. Biomancer Daemon Prince of Nurgle + Black Mace. So much rape!

Can they still charge if they jink?

Yes, only disadvantage is they must snapfire, and for a dedicated CC MC, it isn't a big deal.

but the nice thing is... they still have to spend that turn gliding which means you can drown 'em in full BS fire power. Jink or no, enough shots will take anything down.

Yeah, T5 with 2+ cover is so easy to down... Or, maybe not.
I'd hate to go up against 6 of those guys (with 6 units of cultists) at 1500. Or at 1800, they are all level 2 psykers, who can crap out daemons.

Well, all it took me to take one of them down (Belakor to be exact) was a squad of guardian jetbikes and a squad of Warp Spiders. Which points wise was probably even.

They'll be Lvl 3 psykers probably

But they aren't that unkillable. even with the 2+ cover save and T5 they only have 4 wounds and cost around 350 pts. Roughly 4 termies for twice the price

200 to 250 points actually.
Comparing them to terminators is pretty good, except 2+ cover is usually better than 2+ armor, and terminators aren't nearly as fast, and T5 matters.

Warp spiders hit on 3+, wound on 3+, save on 2+; every 13.5 shots becomes 1 wound; 54 shots to kill.
Guardians hit on 3+, wound on 5+, save on 2+; every 27 shots becomes 1 wound; 108 shots to kill.
Combining fire, you can take one down. It's the other 5 I'm worried about.
Swooping in for one turn and jinking, then closing in and jinking, then combat.
Doesn't give a whole lot of time to deal with them.

Its like you don't play eitther chaos codex.

A prince of nurgle with mastery 3 and wings is already at 275 pts. Considering they also want an armor save and bonuses (like black mace) they all are easily 350 pts, which is twice the price of 4 termies like i said

Yeah, they can still get shot to hell and die. It's still nice to have that 2+. Tried him out the other day and rolled Iron Arm and Warp Speed. Lots of fun.

It may be surprising, but every prince isn't mastery level 3.
350 points is great if you want one, but if you want to spam them (3 CAD, each with 2 HQ's and 2 Troops), then you have to go cheap.
Taking more princes is far better, because as you pointed out, you can focus fire and kill one.

At 1800 points, can you kill 6 (with 12 levels of psyker split between them however you want; and disregarding the 60 guys with autoguns).
