If I wanna purchase the additional Storm Bolter for my Rhino, where exactly am I allowed to place it? Am I restricted to the sides, to the front on top, the front rear where normally a cannon would be?

I believe the 'proper' spot would be over the second circular crew hatch.

I play Space Marines, Dark Angels, Blood Angels, Astra Militarum, Militarum Tempestus, Chaos Space Marines, Dark Eldar, Eldar, Orks, Adepta Sororitas, 'Nids, Necrons, Tau and Grey Knights.

I know where I put it on my dread, back when dreads could get one.

1) there is no reason to buy another storm bolter, it is wasted points

2) if you still want one here is a picture of a rhino set up with two. Not that pictures mean anything, but this Rhino has 2 Stormbolters

I've never figured out where to put the storm bolter upgrade for the Sisters Rhino nor the Exorcist. Since I hardly considered that upgrade as an option, I just never asked. It's still interesting that if you really wanted to do so, there seems to be no reasonable place to out it.

At least for the marine Rhino, there is a second hatch which you can possibly attach it to reasonably.
