Hey everybody, planning a preHeresy army. Problem is I like the look of the Mark IV helmets but the military in me just can't get over the power cables across the chest. So I got 2 questions.
First, are the power cables across the chest part of the chest piece or are that and added piece? This would be the easy fix if they where indepedent then I could the Mark IV and leave the piece out.
Second, does any body know of somebody that has a helmet that looks close? Then I can order Mark III and just change the heads out.
Thanks everybody.

It is molded on to the chest armor. Cutting it off is theoretically possible, but it would be a lot of work to make it look right.

I know of no other manufacturer that produces something similar, but you could always make your own with an standard helmet, some green stuff, and patience.

forge world just released the emperor's children mk IV head upgrade set. That would probably suit your needs nicely.

I saw the emperors children, they just didn't strike me. The word bears look closer but think they have to much stuff on. Just wish I could order the helmets.

You could also try some of the bits sellers on Ebay, but it probably won't be cheap.
