Well seeing that there have several threads that deals with mmorpgs in various ways, i decided to create this one since it would be interesting to see exactly how many mmorpgs or just mmo's in general that people in here plays.

Me myself play a few ones, but my computer need to be upgraded for some of them so in overall i'd say that i play mabey 4-5 mmo's or at least have registered to that many.

From each according to his ability, to each according to his need

I play Planetside 2 which is only kind of an MMO, and occasionally GW2 and The Secret World because they are subscriptionless.

Played EVE Online for a couple years. Let the subscription close down for some time now though. Always get tempted to start it up again but remember I don't have enough time for a second job.

Back when I was younger (like middle school) I used to bounce around between MMOs, playing a month free trial of each one. City of Heroes, Planetside 1, a horrible game nobody ever heard of called Neocron, Matrix Online, Auto Assault.... pretty much name a MMO that came out around mid 2000s that isn't around anymore and I probably played it for a month.

Gone-to-ground in the craters of Coventry

I've bought maybe 40 MMOs over the past 15 years or so.
City of Heroes, Planetside 1, a horrible game nobody ever heard of called Neocron, Matrix Online, Auto Assault
I've played all of them, apart from Matrix.

My wife and I bought a lifetime sub for LOTRO a year into it, and have been on there for the past 7 years.
Currently, I have Planetside 2 for weekly clan nights, a 7-day guest account for Wildstar, and what's left of a 3-month sub for ESO.
I occasionally go back to Eve Online, or Neverwinter.
But, being a casual gamer, not many MMO games can hold a solo gamer for long.

Ever since I stopped playing WoW I have 0 patience for MMOs, which makes me kinda sad because I wanted to get into Tera or The Secret World.

I hope the only MMO I'll play will be the Eternal Crusade.

i have played a ton of MMOs over the years with a good many still active just not actually playing.

I have stopped with PS2 and WoT and have been trying WT but even that is casual playing at best.

Most of my time is spent playing Eve with 2 accounts.

I can only play one daily but I bounce between games often. In the last month I've played a little Guardian Warriors 2 (also known as Guild Wars 2 to some), SWTOR, and Wildstar.

I sure as heck ain't paying more than 1 monthly fee though. Right now Wildstar has taken it from SWTOR.

In the past I have played EVE, WoW, and Rift. Of those I enjoyed WoW the most, but I came into WoW well after its hay day so to experience became very bland and slow as I walked though an entire game world for hours and maybe saw three or four other people running around in the mid-level zones.

I only have one - EverQuest 2. I'll definitely sign up for EQN when it comes out.

The only other MMO I've had much interest in is SWTOR (haven't started it yet).

Avoid SWTOR. On the EU servers at least, people are moody as feth. I got ignored by a raid group for saying "Oh. The enemies mob me because I'm a tank. Thanks Obama."

That's a bummer!

The only reason I'm interested in it is because I have three or four friends that play...and I'm a sucker for Star Wars lol. I'll definitely keep that in mind, though.

If you have a few friends that are into it... go for it. It's worth it for the leveling and you can play it co-op with friends really well (unless you all want to play the same class, that can get tedious). You don't ever need to raid to enjoy the game. I'd say level a character from each side and if you're still having fun keep going with it.

Gameplay-wise, it's standard MMO fare, but it's enjoyability comes from the RP factor and the Bioware plot and cutscenes. The Co-op with friends is awesome, especially if you RP it out. I know I stopped the PnP RPG when we found out that it was easier to play SWTOR. I don't recommend playing it as an F2P. You're FAR too limited.

Interesting. I'll have to take that into account. Thanks for all the info, guys!

I've played a few over the years, never more than one at the same time, though.
Everquest
City of Heroes
The Secret World
Star Wars: The Old Republic
Rift
Eve Online
Anarchy Online
Star Trek Online

That's all I can remember at the moment. I don't really count games like World of Tanks or Mechwarrior Online, as they're, to me, just online games, not really MMOs.

Tried the 10 day trial for WoW, made it through 4 days and erased it from my computer. Hated it. WAR got a similar reaction, despite loving Warhammer lore. An hour on DC heroes, and that's it. Tried three, couldn't stay interested. All free, and all felt like flops.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

I've played Adventure Quest Worlds. (Although I've come to enjoy Adventure Quest original more)
And I'm enjoying Lord of the Rings online. But I haven't played it in over a month. (CURSE YOU OVERLONG TORCHLIGHT II CAMPAIGN!)

I also play League and Fistful of Frags. But I'm not sure if that fits your criteria
