Would Dakka be offended if I converted a chaos knight on horse to be a chaos lord on juggernaut for 40k?. Keep the base model but tech it out a bit to be more in line with 40k. or is that too far out there?

Sounds fine to me, a demonic steed is a demonic steed. Who's to say Chaos has reason and that every Khornate steed looks the same?

As long as it fits the correct footprint I would see no issue

As oz said, as long as you are using the right base for a jugger, I see no issue.

Agreed with this. My HoK jugger nault kit came with a 60mm round based (monstrous creature size). Shouldn't be an issue unless there are obvious shenanigans.

I don't see why not, though honestly, I think that you'd be doing yourself a disservice by NOT having your lord riding a daemonic rhinoceros into battle. Still, I wouldn't have a problem facing that.

As long as the base size is correct I be more than OK with it. After all who says that every single chaos lord has the exact same steed?

I'll add a horn to make sure it looks more appropo

60 mm round base right...I can make one of those easy enough, strap on enough weapons and anything look cool enough.

Whats your preferred load out for juggernaut lords.

Or, you know, you could proxy a Skullcrusher of Khorne to make a more legitimate (and more badass) looking model.

Yeah, I'd say it's acceptable but frankly I don't get why you wouldn't want to use a juggernaut model; it's way cooler than any dumb horse IMO.

I have the horse and I don't have the juggernaut. and I've spent moer money on miniatures than I think I ever should have.
