For the record, I have 10,000 points of Ultramarines, 2000 points of plague marines, 2000 points of Orks
I just used this army selector quiz that's supposed to help you decide what army suits you best.
Turns out 4 out of the top 5 are Eldar Craftworld armies. 100% match with Alaitoc Eldar. The other army was Catachan, which I have no aesthetic interest in.
My beloved Ultramarines fell at 21st place.
Plagues Marines at 29th place. Orks were 12 or something.
What are Alaitoc Eldars?
Should I sell my Ultramarines? Lol

One would assume that if you’ve gone through the effort to get 10k worth of Ultramarines, you may like them. Internet quizzes at best can give you a vague answer based on their parameters.
But if you want to pick up the Eldar codex and start another allied army, go for it. If it tickles for fancy and you love it, feel free to expand to a full army.
Link to the quiz? I’m kinda curious what it say about me...

Damn, that's some seriously 90's web design. Ick.
It's a random Internet quiz done by some guy who just felt like making it. It might be fun to take for the sake of it, but I wouldn't put much credence in it.

The questions themselves are based on the Eldar. Question 1 - Shuriken Weapons and "fast: attacks vs Artillery Bombardment. Question 2 - Crusade vs fight to live? Question 3 - Eldar Trickery vs umm, non-Eldar Trickery? Question 4 - this one is actually chaos vs non-chaos... Qustion 5 - Infantry Platoons vs Striking Scorpions? Question 6 - Land Raiders or Wave Serpents? Question 7 - Tac Squad or 20 Guardians? Question 8 - Psykers, good or bad? I think you get the point.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

Extremely bent towards eldar. there is hardly a way to even avoid 100% craftworld eldar rating, let alone balanced results.
The mere fact there are 6(!) eldar results there, depsite the fact they all share a single codex (the supplement did not exist when that one came out) shows just how biased is this.
At least in the SM and CSM mutliple choices there are minimal in-game differences between them, even if they can be mixed freely.
This quiz is "what eldar are you" more then "what army are you".
Just for the record, 3 of my top 5 were eldar, with the 6th being dark eldar.
The other two were WS and DA, two SM chapters that I dislike the most.
My tau, by sheer luck, came in 7th. though I honestly aimed at it.

Got Eldar as well for my top, nids second, Thousand Sons third, biel-tan fourth. I have a hunch it favors Eldar a bit. (I wouldn't say to trust such things. It doesn't even list Chaos Daemons and out of the armies I really play, it ranked IG and CSM at the bottom. The only real accurate parts were the Thousand Sons mention and Salamanders being on the higher end)

Somehow, despite answering as un-Eldar as possible I got 100% for everyone.
The only reason my top two (and t he only ones in my top 5) are Eldar, is because it posted the list alphabetically.

Seriously though, just ignore this selector. It's clunky, has very skewed scores that don't make much sense, and questionable scorings. 6 SM chapters despite White Scars and Salamanders being in the generic SM codices. Even claiming unique style, as much as I like Salamanders, they really aren't quite dramatic enough to get their own segment unless all SM chapters did. CSM get 5 although I guess those 4 legions do deserve some regard? Only 2 IG forces with two distinct IG styles split up with Catachans really only being IG with different models, Orks being split to orks and speed freaks, eldar getting 6 different options despite not really representing any of them in a significant manner, and is missing both Chaos Daemons and SoB.
Yeah just not worth using this for deciding armies or anything.

FYI, I am a confirmed DA player. I do not do Chaos, I'm really not comfortable with the fluff.
1. Emperor's Children (Chaos Space Marines Chapter) (100%)
2. Blood Angels (Space Marine Chapter) (95%)
3. Space Wolves (Space Marine Chapter) (95%)
4. Tau (93%)
5. Ultramarines / Generic Space Marines (Space Marine Chapter) (93%)
6. Biel-Tan Craftworld Eldar (90%)
7. World-Eaters (Chaos Space Marines Chapter) (90%)
8. Dark Angels (Space Marine Chapter) (87%)
I think that was a pretty convincing non-Eldar result.

Silly quiz, it told me Craftworld Eldar and Catachans too. I think it's just disposed to tell everyone to play Eldar.
It did tell me Dark Eldar too, which was fairly correct. That was my third result.

Putting up a statistically valid survey to determine which army you would like best is...Well...Impossible. Or at least not worth the thousands that would be needed to develop it and research it.
So instead of reliable...You should say "fun", because that is all it would be, fun.

I don't put a lot of stock in quizzes like this. To the point I'm not going to take the time to take this one. I've found many of them can be skewed by asking specific questions that anyone familiar with lore can use to make the result you want.
