Any news of Dark Eldar coming is enough to wake me up today after gaming until sunrise. Could Dark Eldar really be coming this early?

A Voidraven Bomber listed at $81.00 and a new Incubi box set at $29.75 are mentioned, which would be very exciting. I would expect that an $81 Voidraven would be a massive model. Even at that price though, I would already want to 2-3. Time to start saving up.

Please remember that these are rumors.

Looked at update on next months releases. Dark Eldar are likely coming. Codex, limited edition codex, supplement, dataslates. Voidraven bomber @ $81.00 and new Incubi @ 29.75 which likely means plastic incubi.

Supply system updated, whether that means next month or not, Im not sure. It would make sense, since Orks are bleeding over into July release. To help support that info, no changes in supply system for Bretonians.

Those numbers are hard to argue with for Father Gabe.

What could they really dual kit Incubi with right now?

The new kit they'll use to justify the codex.

Or they'll give Incubi a ranged option a la WG.

Brace yourself, a silly name for the alternative build is coming, especially as "Succubi" is already taken.

To me, most of these look like logical educated guesses. In that vein we can also say DE could be getting plastic Mandrakes and Wracks. Though the latter would be very welcome IMO.

I'm pretty sure they can justify the codex without it needing to be a new kit. The Dark Eldar book is kind of old and clunky compared to the other books that remain needing redos(Space Wolves and Blood Angels with possibly Grey Knights and Necrons).

Maybe Trueborn are actually getting a kit now? Or maybe Striking Scorpions are going dual faction?

The book is playing just fine, it isn't like 5th-7th has been a massive paradigm shift.

It's just obvious, no new plastic kit outside of the big boys has built only one unit type, the Wraithguard got Wraithblades, the Witch Elves got Sisters of Slaughter (?) etc etc.

There's no reason not to expect something additional in an Incibi kit, whether that be a totally new unit or weapon variants, I couldn't say.

I was meaning more that "They don't need a new kit to justify a new book". The price doesn't feel right for a dual kit but I'm fairly sure you are correct about it.

Has there been a codex, in the history of codexes, that hasn't added a new unit?

Genuine question, I'm not aware of one.

Seems like a good time to bring it out based on the unbound rules, it would have been hard to justify taking them previously for me.

However, based on the new rules DE flyers and deep striking vehicles got a whole lot more interesting so hell why not, sounds like fun...

I would rather the Codex before the models though tbh.

Why does it feel like 'paradigm' is the go-to buzzword at the moment?

Anyway, I'm not looking forward to this - not due to the plastic models (that's great) but because of A) The pricing of the models and B) I've already have C:CSM and C:Orks messed about it, I can't stomach a third codex of mine being trashed randomly and the waves of minis seem to signal a new codex is on the way

Would that be US$ pricing?
Closest comparable kit that I can think of would be something like the Lychguard, which I think is US$33?

The Dark Eldar Wyches and Kabalite Warriors are $29 and are kinda/sorta dual kits I guess?

Yeah, but they're ten man kits and not really dual, they just have two units they're able to easily represent.

Plastic Incubi would be cool. Wonder if they'll have bitz in there to make Drazhar?

Then we just need plastic beasts and Sslyth, plastic Archon/Vect kit, plastic Succubus/Lelith kit.

Also noticed I'm in OPs signature. Woot

Trueborn and Bloodbrides are simply Warriors and Wyches with extra wargear options, they really don't need another kit.

Runnin up on ya.

Couldn't they just repackage the current flier with an extra sprue to make the bomber? It'd be more in line with other fliers.

Incubi/blood bride dual kit?

Six mistakes mankind keeps making century after century: Believing that personal gain is made by crushing others; Worrying about things that cannot be changed or corrected; Insisting that a thing is impossible because we cannot accomplish it; Refusing to set aside trivial preferences; Neglecting development and refinement of the mind; Attempting to compel others to believe and live as we do

Doubt it'd be Incubi and Bloodbrides. The style of model wouldn't match. Bloodbrides have basically no armour whilst Incubi have the most out of all the infantry in the DE range.

Can't really think of an existing unit without a plastic kit you could cross Incubi with without drastically altering the style of either unit.

Incubi/Grotesques dual kit, because apparently everyone thinks it has to be two existing units!

I doubt they'd package incubi & bloodbrides together; ones entirely male the other female. unless they did a box with 5 male front torsos and 5 female, though still as Malus says, bloodlines would likely go in naked compared to the heavily armoured incubi
