Ok so things staying the same: 1) pick 3 potential infiltrate squads that can also function without infiltrate 2) Have some high threat models such as vindicators or a mini-screamer-star to take heat off of rubic marines and Ahriman Things that will be different: 1) Ahriman can fire the same witchfire three times and take more support spells 2) Sorcerers can fire their bolt pistols now during the shooting phase as well as any witchfires during the psychic phase 3) Ahriman and Chaos Sorcerers have access to all trees but Telekinesis Ahriman (Warlord) Chaos Sorcerer- VoTLW, MoT, Terminator Armor, ML 3, Scrolls of Magnus 3 Obliterators- MoT, VoTLW Thats a 673 point Ahriman-Star. The Sorcerer rolls for divination primarus (To use on himself, the oblits, and ahriman) and a witchfire of some sort. Ahriman rolls on biomancy or something depending on the situation. Psychic Scream is always an option too. Moving on, 10 Thousand Sons- Icon of Flame, Rhino w/ Combi-Melta and Dozer Blade 10 Thousand Sons- Icon of Flame, Rhino w/ Combi-Melta and Dozer Blade Vindicator- Daemonic Possession, Siege Shield Vindicator- Daemonic Possession, Siege Shield Herald of Tzeentch- ML 3 Herald of Tzeentch- ML 3 10 Pink Horrors 10 Pink Horrors Icon of flame and scrolls of Magnus, I know. Idea is that the daemons go all malefic and summon away. Vindicators abuse their Siege Shields to get some cover saves Thousand Sons infiltrate and Rapid Fire. Dozer Blade is to not worry about terrain and just focus on finding a good infiltration spot. Combi-Melta is there for a little anti-tank that my opponent will likely forget about. The first thing to go should be any enemy AP2 Shooting that can harm my very expensive deathstar or any enemy CC squads that will tie up my rubics. I guess my biggest question is what are some good ways to use Ahriman now

Chaos sorcs (and Ahriman) don't have access to div, check your codec. No, the psychic chart doesn't override the codes, its meant to indicate the balestar from crimson slaughter.
You have 672 points tied up in 5 models and only 4 vehicles, 2 of which are AV 11. I don't think you've got sufficient target saturation at 2k.
As for using Ahriman, I still like the idea of rolling on sanctic trying for vortex since he can be in range turn 1 and use it 3 times. The +1 invo also combos well with mot and thousand sons who have infiltrated. Sure, he will likely kill himself, but he will take a lot down with him.

Hello,
this list seems interesting, I would like to point out a detail that could be of some use. Your sorcerer does not have access to Telepathy discipline at all. Unless a very lucky roll on the Scroll and even then you cannot swap for the Primaris.
If you would like to have Divination you should replace the Scroll by the Balestar of Manon from Crimson Slaughter suppplement. But then you would have to drop all the VOTLW.... up to you.
To use Ahriman you could simply join him to a unit of TS and Infiltrate them all, this would provide a good firepower plus a shield for the super-shooter of the dead.
That being said I like the idea of the list though I think you could include a unit of Plaguebearers that would hold any necessary back objectives, but that would be a little unfluffy
Also, you could gather your 20 pink horrors in one unit to maximize the Flickering Fire power (1 x lvl3 vs 2 x lvl1).

Sorcerors certainly do get telepathy (which is a very strong discipline). Its diviniation and telekinesis they dont get.
Sad that aspiring Sorcerors seem to be limited to the tzeentch discipline, which is rather boring.
The problem with psychic heavy lists is severely diminishing returns on warp charge.
I would build probably stick to ahriman a sorceror and 2/3 units of sons in rhinos. And take the rest in proven combat units like spawn.
I like the idea of infiltrating vindicators.
Personally i think if you take Sorcerors And daemons you will only be able to cast half the spells you want to, and will have a huge points deficit from effective units. Still would like to hear the results

From the FAQ: "Any model with the Psyker special rule may generate powers from the Daemonology discipline in addition to the others listed in their Army List Entries" I'm fairly sure CSM has non-artifact access to divination because everyone's been freaking out about how Ahriman the Diviner finally has Divination access. @Drasius I have really considered using Satanic with Fateweaver's help to reroll dice that would peril him. Could be crazy. As you say so, I agree I need to go more infantry at this point. I'll edit the list. @Dysorange I hate to admit it, but my biggest beef with putting Ahriman in a squad of Tsons is it ruins the heirarchy by putting two squad leaders in a rubic squad and it ruins the symmetry. If I had 3 squads and replaced one of the sorcerers with ahriman I could deal with that but no haha. I'll try to get over it. @Captyn_Bob I see. You cannot infiltrate vehicles I believe the wording for master of deception is three squads of infantry. I will tone down the number of psykers. TRYIN IT AGAIN: 1520 points thousand sons Ahriman (Warlord) Chaos Sorcerer- VoTLW, MoT, Terminator Armor, ML 3, Scrolls of Magnus 3 Obliterators- MoT, VoTLW (Sorcerer goes here) 9 Thousand Sons- Icon of Flame, Rhino w/ Combi-Melta and Dozer Blade (Ahriman goes here) 10 Thousand Sons- Icon of Flame, Rhino w/ Combi-Melta and Dozer Blade Herald of Tzeentch- ML 3, disk, Grimoire 9 Screamers of Tzeentch (Herald goes here) 10 Pink Horrors Kinda changed directions here, swapping out the vindicators for a mini screamer star. To get to 2000 points, I could: 1) Take more heralds for a better chance of getting a power that gives a 4++ save, the new FAQ says allied detachments of daemons can take 4 heralds to use 1 hq slot after all 2) Take more Pink horrors 3) Take some cultists 4) Take more Thousand Sons 5) ??? ideas

His Army List Entry does NOT list divination. Nor does any FAQ add it.
If they're freaking out, they're going to be sadly disappointed.
