Hi all
i was wondering:
Psychic Communion (Inquisition psychic power) says it's a blessing that can be launched at start of movement phase, before rolling for reserves
However, in 7th edition psychic power are now bound to a psychic phase...7
sooooooo
how's changed???
i will need to use it on advance? i can use it out-of-phase?
i searched for FAQ but i did not found them for Inquisition...

i'm interested on RAW if possible

No, but there are still a few different options for adding to reserve rolls from several different codices (plus certain fortifications can help).

It's also quite fun to make a Mordrak list now that ICs can join units of single models. 5 Inquisitors as allied Inquisitorial detachments (from C:I) with TDA and psycannons attached to Mordrak deepstriking in on turn 1 without scattering is kinda nice.

Add some Dreadknights and Interceptors (maybe an allied drop pod or two) and you've got a very nasty shunting list that can be in your opponent's face turn 1.

Stick A ghost knight in there, and the whole unit then has stealth, meaning you can DS into terrain and have a lovely improved save....

Now that is a good idea. Consider it stolen!

Any other force multipliers? Other than the more obvious SC shenanigans (Draigo/Corbulo/etc.).

to be honest id have the full five, that way you have some more 2+ save bodies in the way of your psycannons.

GK Librarians to cast +1inv or other lovely powers are a good bet.

I've wanted to paint up a series of G-G-G-Ghost Knights! for a while now. That might have to come to fruition here soon.

I was hoping for some psychic defense with the Inquisitors, but checking through the rules for the C:I, it doesn't look like you can make them Psykers and also trade in their gear for TDA and hammers. Am I reading that right?

Automatically Appended Next Post:
It looks like you can indeed upgrade them to psyker regardless (don't have to trade in a ccw for a force sword unless you want to, and the TDA comes with a Nemesis Hammer anyway).

I love it when a plan comes together.

My 5th edition created GK army was based around sticking roughly 1000 points in my enemies deployment zone turn 1 - at 1500 mordrak, 5 Ghosts, 2 shunting flaming DK, 2x5 termies and a vindicare. Scared the gak out of a lot of armies, including chimera spam guard, as i could remove a flank in one go.
