Stern Iron Priest with Thrall Bodyguard

New summoning spell, like greater daemon summoning, the rune priest change into a great spiritwolf (for sale on big oval base).

Not sure about the named characters. 7th has not been about great special characters. Some get cut and many get nerfed so hard they dont even get considered in friendly games.
Then again, SW is all about the colorful heroes and their sagas.

That Great Company sounds like a super sized Space Wolves Battleforce.

I hope hero hammer style lists are still a possibility. They aren't great, but they are damn fun builds.

Yeah, just think, we were pretty much the first ones to get our own FOC. My guess is that will translate into SPECULATION
New Detachment Type - SW Detachment with 4 HQ slots (i.e. no more two for one). I also think GH get option to buy two weapons at .

All of thes sound plausible. But I would really prefer a bunch of new dual plastic HQ kits instead...

That one sounds really likely, especially when totaling up the price. Assuming the new Wolf Lord is $30, this amounts to $266.25. At a 75% discount (which I assume to be the least amount) the box would be priced at $200. At a discount of 65% (which I assume to be the best amount) it would be priced at $175. Throw in a dreadnought to the box and it could be put at $225 like the Space Marine Strikeforce.

I'm wondering what exactly a "Wolf Lord Sprue" is, unless its part of a new Wolf lord kit. Hope its not referring to the old Space Wolves upgrade sprue or wahtever.

Really just sounds like a bunch of 1-click orders from the site / limited store copies besides the Long Fang Pack which will always be there.

Ragnars Great company. Sure, i guess i could see that being an actual boxed set.
Retinue of the Wolf priest. Nope, because someone that would be 16 models in a box. Plus unless they are messing with the fluff by separating wolf priests and apothecaries, then that is an extra reason this box wouldn't happen.
Long fang pack. Plausible.
SkyClaws. Just no.

This would be pretty nice actually, a good core army and enough Pods to go around for once. Give a decent discount on it and it'd be awesome. Wolf Lord Sprue sounds like another single-pose character model, but seeing as this is listed as Ragnar's, there's a chance this could be a dual-kit with options for the man himself.

I'm guessing it's just the Wolf Lord kit and not an upgrade sprue. The two lines confused me, but the sprue list just seems to be repeating the first line.

I'm hoping they also released a Wolf Lord on Thunderwolf kit that can be made into Canis Wolfborn, but I guess that would be a bit too much...

Sweet. As a longtime SW player and collector, to get the two new (small) HQ sprues (which will probably be great), I just need to buy two big box sets including:

-Retinue of the Wolf Priest - 2x Space Wolves sprues, 1x Space Marine Command Squad sprue

-Ragnars Great Company - 1x Wolf Lord sprue, 1x Space Wolves Terminator sprue, 4x Space Wolves sprues, 3x Drop Pod sprues

Let me total that up.

1 WGT kit
3 Wolf Pack kits
3 Drop Pods
1 Space Marine Command Sprue

Sounds great. Buy a bunch of stuff you already have for two HQ sprues. The other new kits are just packs of existing sprues.

Bring it on. I've been hopeful for a Wolf Priest and Wolf Lord sprue. Now they'll just cost me $325.

Seeing as both have fairly recent models, I doubt it.

Surely a plastic Thunderwolf Rider with a pair of LC and a few extra bits works as Canis, though?

P.S. This was posted by the lovely Mexican Ork.

"Thousand Sons beware" sounds something that would relate to Space Wolves.

Codex: Apocrypha? GW are doing Elder Scrolls now?

On a more serious note, though, any idea what that means?

My fear is that they will remove the ability to bring wolves into core via canis like they did with orks not able to take bikes into core. I guess with all the unbound and multiple forces type stuff they feel its not needed anymore to have a character that allows a troop to be moved into core but... i really like my fenrisian wolves and love the model and we still play with only one FO allowed at times.

House rule it. You're already changing the 7th ed core rules, so change the other rules which were only dropped because they are redundant in core 7th.

Nope.

It's a tease of the SW codex and a new regular fluff article. The two things aren't linked.
