Ok, so Goge Vandire, leader of the apostasy heresy must have been about 90 or 100 years old from my estimations. Im not sure what you all read, but apparenly when he began his reign he was 30 or 40 (and even that is young for a high lord) and it took 70 years for Sabastion Thor to hear of it and react. Um, Vandire would have to be well into his 100's or 90's at least and I just wonder how thats possible. Especially since he was able to coordinate his forces against the attacking Space marines and such.

Rejuvenat procedures can allow a human to live for 160+ years depending on wealth before the brain starts to truly atrophy. There are many hundred+ characters in books like Eisenhorn, Ravenor, Commisar Yarrick is a century old or so.

The natural longevity of humans never changed no matter the time in witch you live and it's hovering around a hundred years old with women living about 15% longer than men. Only life expectancy changes. In the 41st millenium all this is changed with the numerous anti-aging drugs (the most mentionnned beeing rejuvenat wich can litterally prevent you from aging and reverse the aging process) and other treatments like organs cloning and replacements. Some humans benefits from this drugs to a point were they can stay young for more than a century. According to what I have read, with regular rejuvenat treatment and a little medical precedure here and there, you can live for around 400 years. Most lords of Terra, great inquisitor, sector governer and other official of similar importance will live about that long. Imperial guard officers, commissars, small time inquisitor, Sisters of Battle and Scions will have access to rejuvenat treatment bu usually in much smaller quantity giving them a longevity of around 200. Finally, Techpriests can live for millenia with organ replacement and such. The highest priest on Mars are all thousands of years old and pretty crazy because of this. Of course, like all things fiction, sources will differ from time to time, but that seems the basic.

Um, nope. There have been plenty of times in human history where 30 was considered long lived. I guess you could say naturally a proper healthy human in a "vacuum" could always live an average of about 80 years, but in the past its been pretty hard struggle to stay healthy that long. Disease, war, famine, and stress historically cut life expectancy quite a bit.

Isn't that what they said? We have the same potential lifespan no matter what but the expectancy changes.

The nobility of Hives, who live on the uppermost spires, are considered to be practically immortal. I'm not sure what the number is, but I vaguely remember reading somewhere that normal humans can live up to 600 years with drugs and other treatments before they need to augmenting themselves with cybernetics.

Ah.... no. 30 years was the average life expectancy... but that is because of the way mathematics determine averages, not because people were dropping dead at 27 in mass numbers.
In this era, lots and lots of people died before they turned 2 due to childhood illnesses, but if they got past that point, they could reasonably expect to live to 70. Of course, what's the average between 2 and 70?
36.
That is how the idea that people only lived to 30 in Dark Ages was born.

Has it as been perfectly demonstrated by Psienesis, life expectancy is a mathematical average of human age at time of death. Before the first period of Industrialisation, life expectancy was around 35 to 45 years old in western europe country. These statistics are due to child death. Around 30% of all born children died before reaching 6 years old. If you have ever been hospitalised in your youth, know that you would probably be dead if not for medical science advancement. In contry still plagued by poor access to medicine, women also have a significantly shorter life expectancy than men du to the high number of childbirth deaths and lets say that war, despite beeing describe has men activity, has never been tender with women. Longevity on the other side is a biological caracteristic linked to your species.
Ramses II died at 92 years old.
Plato died at 84 years old.
Wang Ji died around 80.
Louis XIV around 80.
Pierre le Vénérable around 90.
the secret was beeing tough, rich, eat a healthy and be Lucky.

True, that is a common misconception about life expectancies in the past. Back then, you had lots of babies dying before they turned five due to childhood ilnesses that we have a cure for nowadays, which massively brings down the average life expectancy.
As for 40k, how long a human can live depends on the world and wealth of the individual. On some worlds, poor people will rarely live past 50 while on other worlds people can become 400 or even older due to technological and medical hocus-pocus.

The typical life expectancy for a human being has not changed terribly much since... ever. In the Imperium? Unless you live in an extremely polluted environment, you can expect to approach a century. If you are a person of means and influence, the technology exists to replace failing organs or apply "fountain of youth" remedies, and you can survive for centuries, if not millennia, with sufficient augmetic replacements.

This. A normal human in a nice environment (who survived childhood) can reach anything we see today - most likely 70-80 but in extreme cases 110 or more. Those with access to the heavy stuff in rejuvenat treatments and AdMech assistive surgery won'y have to bat an eyelid at reaching 350 - IIRC that's what Eisenhorn was at the beginning of the second book, and his Pariah assistant looked not a day above 25 even is she was chronologically well over 100.
