I've always wondered, out of all of Khorne's champions who is the strongest/most powerful.

I was thinking it went:
Doombreed
Ka'Bandha
An'ggrath
Skarbrand
Angron
Kharn

I assume Doombreed is the most powerful as he was Khorne's first Daemon Prince/Bloodthirster(can't remeber which) he would be created as the most powerful, followed by Ka'Bandha as he broke Sanguinius' legs then An'ggrath as he is Khorne's chosen at the moment and he was specifically created to be more powerful than Skarbrand and then Angron just because i assumed he is less powerful than Skarbrand and Kharn in last place as he is only an Astartes.

Let me know what you think and if there's anyone i missed.

Angron. Maybe Doombreed but he has no feats other than ambushing the Warhawks and Venators with Abbadon's help.

What about Angron

Sorry I probably should've specified, Angron is the greatest champion of Khorne IMO. It took 100 Grey Knights to take him down whereas An'ggrath the Unbound was beaten by a single inqusitor and a couple Grey Knight Squads.

Angron is the mightiest of Khorne's champions.

Doombreed? Defeated one on one by Mephisto. An'ggrath? Lorgar bested him in martial combat. Ka'Bhanda? Despite defeated Sanguinius once he never managed the feat again, with Sanguinius crushing him in their first rematch on Signus. Skarbrand? Dante cut him in half.

Angron is explicitly the mightiest of Khorne's champions per the Space Wolves codex, and could likely have beaten the other listed champions while a mere Primarch.

Im pretty sure the Inquisitor only beet An'ggrath because he knew his real name, i never new about the Doombreed/Mephisto fight

That, and Angron is one of the few big baddies in the 40k universe to actually have a successful crusade against the IOM.

And did it twice, IIRC.

I do believe angron had several bloodthirsters with him. I know he wasn't alone.

Nothing special about Kharn, he shouldn't even be on this list. The only thing he's good at is being alive when he should be dead.

Imo people, a lot of these powerful daemons were made to look pathetic. I mean, these are some of the most powerful daemons in existence and they haven't accomplished any awesome feats. The setting shouldn't be grimdark when all the bad guys are known for is dying.

HA! zachwho, it looks like you're so offended about kharn, that your profile picture's going super sayaijin.

Also, I'm also offended that Mepiston is not on you're list of champions of khorne... He is so powerful that Khorne lets him use pshchic powers because he's so proud of lil' mephy.

Mephy is squishy. Present him with Abaddons boot and he becomes the equivalent of a crushed roach. *SQUISH*

On a more serious note, Angron is the true red angel, not mephy. On an even more serious note, there would be no way in hell Khorne allows mephy to use psychic powers, or anyone for that matter........

Its between Ann'grath, Ka'Bandha and Angron. Both Ann'grath and Ka'Bandha are listed as Khorne's most powerful Bloodthirster. But the general consensus is that Angron (Daemon Mode) is the most powerful servant of Khorne.

Kharne is the most favoured mortal Champion of Khorne and probably the most powerful.

Angron by far is his greatest champ.

Does Skarbrand count as a champion of Khorne anymore?

I heard Khorne doesn't like him much anymore. He even quit following him on Twitter.

Actually, it was Skarbrand who quit following Khorne on twitter. As a result he was hurled into another dimension to be forever alone

Angron was defeated by Brother-Captain Aurelian.
Doombreed was defeated by Mephiston.
Ka'Bandha has been defeated numerous times, though he did manage to beat Sanguinius once.
An'ggrath was defeated by Inquisitor Hector Rex and Lorgar.

So from that list, I've got to go with Ka'Bandha as he displays his high strength by defeating Sanguinius, and his list of defeats shows he can't be kept down for too long.

Angron can defeat any primarch 1v1.

I say he could possibly fight Saguinius , but it wouldve been one hell of a fight between the 2.

All deamons come back after a certain amount of time(1000 years i believe?)

Although as I recall Lorgar said that Angron was the only person other than Horus who could kill Sanguinius.

It also took the best part of 100 Grey Knights and some plot armour to take down Angron.

I don't think Angron would have been much of a match as he could not fly and was a little dim.
All daemons can come back, but but it shows he's a go-getter with a good attitude to keep coming back

Nope. Angron got banished by Aurelian in a duel. Most of the Grey Knights were dead by the daemon horde by the time of the duel.

When Ka'Bandha "defeated" Sanguinius, it wasn't as if he overpowered him in combat though. It was a trap set for Sanguinius, and when Ka'Bandha killed a large number of Blood Angels Sanguinius fell into a coma.

Some of the Grey Knights helped him Psychically.

Apparently "The Emperor's Gift" goes into greater detail. While I have not read it others have said that the Grey Knight Hyperion (with Psychic support I think) breaks Angron's blade for instance.

1000 years or more would be a particularly powerful banishment, even for a minor daemon. The effort required would grow exponentially as the target daemon gets more powerful.
You'd be lucky to keep Angron quiet for even a century with a company of GK. The daemon/traitor armies he'd need to get together, however take much longer.

He still overpowered him, even if it wasn't entirely physical.

Yes, he had a little help, but not from anywhere close to 100 Grey Knights. When Angron was defeated the Daemons were banished, and there were only a handful left. Hyperion was one of them and he was out of action at that point.
But turn about is fair play, Angron was plenty juiced from all the genocide and skull temples too.
Mephiston also defeated Doombreed with the help of the Blood Angels, drawing upon their rage. But Doombreed had been doing that as well.

I disagree. Regardless, how badly Sanguinius thrashed Ka'Bandha once he woke up from that coma illustrates exactly who had the advantage in that fight.

Well Angron is still running around and causing lots of trouble... So I would say he is the strongest of the champs.

He is able to gather an army fairly quick , and is after all a primarch.
