I thinking about building a Dark Depravity army, Dark Eldar who have fallen to slaanesh. Alternatively, I could run DE with Eldar allies, with the allies being a focus on daemon summoning (1 troop, farseer and warlock battery).
Dark Eldar with daemons of slaanesh allies, other than the basic concept, and the idea for some conversions, any ideas on what to actually field?

I think the idea of warlocks summoning daemons sounds pretty good.
Also since they are slaaneshi, I think running some Hoamonculi and wracks would fit the theme. The idea of performing extreme surgery on ones self and others to gain the most intense combat experience sounds very slaaneshi to me.
So you can run a basic coven list. with Eldar warlock allies.

In Fantasy there is the Cult of Slaanesh within Dark Elf Society, you could probably find some cool conversion ideas there. Witch Elves as Wyches, etc.

While I don't have any issues with this from a gameplay perspective, from a fluff perspective this would never happen. Slaanesh has zero interest in living DE servants. S/he merely wishes to consume their souls.

Fairly certain one of the recent Dark Eldar novels had a Dark Eldar that was a slaanesh worshipper, and was granted daemonhood.
Also there is mention in fluff of eldar still existing on crone worlds as powerful servants of chaos.
The original striking scorpion phoenix lord also fell to chaos, and was said to burn with the dark fire of chaos, and supposedly led daemons against the eldar.
http://warhammer40k.wikia.com/wiki/Arhra
Slaanesh was very hungry and lusty when they were born, but they are around forever. They don't seem to have a problem bringing eldar/dark eldar to their side since eventually all the eldar and dark eldar will die and feed she who thirsts.
RT era was a long time ago, but there were chaos eldar, and their were even slaaneshi eldar models that were put out as lead models by I think marauder which produced a lot of the fantasy/ 40k models at the time.

Arhra is supposedly Drazhar.
Also in the novel it was an Archons body that was corrupted by chaos. A harlequin trapped him in a soul stone right at the end of the book.

Dark Eldar aren't quite as picky about chaos as their craftworld brothers. It's why DE get daemons as desperate allies, and craftworld get them as Come the Apoc.
The fluff behind it will be an archon corrupted, who pleads for hunts other eldar in exchange for slaanesh not eating his soul... today.
I'm still torn between the two possible builds,
DE with Eldar to summon daemons, or DE with Daemon Allies.

I think DE with Chaos Daemons allies is the better choice. Summoning more Daemons will be much easier with the use of other Daemons rather than Eldar allies.

Yeah, that's what I was leaning towards. I'm going to be mixing wych parts with daemonette parts to build daemonettes.
How good are the other slaanesh daemons?

A great De/Slaanesh combo would be a Seeker Star running up one flank as fast as you please, while a Beast Pack runs up the other. Boom, instant threat priority with two large (foot print wise) fast killy units that are surprisingly resilient. I am not 100% sure on what is in a Seekerstar, but i know it's a lot of Seekers (15 of them i believe) lead by a Herald followed by someone to Grimour them up for a lovely 3++ save. Each Seeker puts out something silly like 4 Rending attacks on the charge and the Herald will be AP 2 thanks to Etherblade, they are a really scary unit!
On the other side we have the Standard Baron lead Beastpack, stock with 15 Khymerae and 4 Flocks. A tried and true tested unit that can bully several units at once due to large foot print. With the rest of your points get yourself some of those Chariots, in most lists they don't work, but in a list with Seekers and a Beaststar these are likely to go unnoticed. Fiends are terrible, forget Fiends. On the Dark Eldar side fill in with a little anti-tank in the form of Ravagers and Haywire Wyches in Venoms and maybe some Reavers to really put the presure on turn 2.
The joy of this list will be that those 2 Deathstars will be moving 16/18'' each turn ignoring cover meaning they WILL be in assault range turn two, and not many lists can deal with that, and there despair will be exquisite!

I'm pretty sure Daemons of Slaanesh are a strong choice. Depending on how many points is the list supposed to be, I'd definitely throw some Ravagers and a Slaaneshi Soul Grinder to complement the Beast Pack and Daemonettes.

I know beast packs are the best option for DE. Thematically, I don't like them.
I'll most likely take furies of slaanesh, daemonettes and a prince, supporting the warriors in raiders, hellions, scourge and reavers.
I'll be testing all over the place for "one eye open", but I'm used to that, I play O&G in fantasy.
How would you kit a slaanesh daemon prince?

So, you prefer to take Infantry units? Whatever floats your boat, personally I've got a penchant for Vehicles.
I think the best Daemon Prince of Slaanesh is a winged Psyker, either Biomancy or Malefic Daemonology. Probably one with Lash of Despair to act as an impromptu Anti-Air.
