Meh, I was gonna say something along the lines of trolling, but I'll drop it. I'll just leave it at "They don't really need another supplement".

What chapters aren't covered in the C:SM that haven't received an update yet? Because they should get it before any of the chapters covered in C:SM get covered again.

Probably Templars.

I wish Iron Hands had waited to get their supplement- the Space wolves mechanic for terminator sergeants would have been awesome for Iron Hands players. I miss Scions of Mars!

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say Flesh tearers.

they're one of the more well known blood angel sucessors, and I suspect the next space Marine supplement will be released with Codex: Blood Angels.

Opinions are not facts please don't confuse the two

I'm very surprised that the Ultramarines haven't had a supplement. I remember the rumour going around that we were getting a Tyrannic War Veterans supplement when Tyranids dropped, instead we got the worst dataslate I've ever bought, the fluff and crunch are both awful. Retconned the idea of Cassius building a new elite crew, instead it was a one off recruitment drive, and now they're a depleting force. Don't even get me started on those godawful rules.

I do think Templars deserve the next one though.

Probably black Templars. However as a dark horse I nominate ravenguard. Would make for a nice change of pace. And I think you could do some cool relics and warlord traits for them.

Supplements are for 3rd Companies of a Chapter. BT don't run Companies... yet Wouldn't expect anything for BT until new Management in Nottingham.

I'd guess the Chapters with well known characters who lead a 3rd Co got the best shot at getting a supplement. Easy copy&paste for GW.

the Ultramarines did get a supplement, of sorts. http://www.blacklibrary.com/games-workshop-digital-editions/Tyrannic-War-Veterans.html

But I agree Black Templar need something.

I'd go a bit out of bound here and say 1k sons.

They REALLY need something to make the damn guys work. though a supplement would probably not be enough.

over there

The IMPERIAL FETHING GUARD. We deserve a supplement marbo. If any faction needs 4+ supplements its the guard. The differences between factions is much larger than marines, all marines from the vanilla dex have the same gear and training. Al major regiments train drastically differently and have larger differences than these guys like dreadnoughts or these guys like drop pods.

The vast difference in gear and training lends itself to at the veryleast regimental tactics and at best a ton of small supplements.

The west is on its death spiral.

It was a good run.

Realistically, Imperial Fists and Second Founding Chapters of them need a Supplement. Something to include Templars, Crimson Fists and such. There's just too much there to ignore and it would be a good chance to get Close Combat Chapters some love and Siege War some attention outside of Forge World.

I thought there was something good in there revolving the stormtalons, like they could be taken in squads of 3 or something. So you could end up fielding 9 stormtalons.

Of course now that unbound is a thing, I guess that's irrelevant.

I would actually like to see a Crimson Fist Rynns world supplement. Actually give us some rules for the unique sergeants and captains that died or got capture.

Oh and I love the Pedro model.

imperial fists already got a suppliment though. Sentinels of terra and all that.

not counting Raptor chapter tactics acting like a supplement, I say Ravenguard. why? Because they could have better ways of showing how they set up ambushes or how they infiltrate. I just think it would be nice.

"Do you really think 7th edition was the best edition?"

"Yes, and I'm tired of thinking otherwise."

Crimson Fists aren't really Imperial Fists, they're a second founding of Imperial Fist but they aren't the same Chapter. You're right it is very unlikely since there is already a Fist supplement out but I can't help but dream.

Of the codex chapters, Raven guard needs the most help. They have the weakest chapter tactics overall, only getting a turn 1 mobility boost and stealth. The boost to hammer of wrath is nice if you spam assault marines, but you cant really do that (and as of now the best way to run them is with 2 flamers in a pod, making the CT irrelevant).

They need help. Giving them a supplement with a few relics a change in their CT and a formation or 2 would do that.

I think I agree with this. Especially ones that cost as much as the original Codex.

They could just do something like this, a free PDF of extra Chapter Tactics. If it wasn't free, but they could at least try to keep it cheap..

Driven away from WH40K by rules bloat and the expense of keeping up, now interested in smaller model count games and anything with nifty mechanics.

Cheap? GW? Are you new?

I'm kidding... but, no, seriously. Why would they charge $10 when they could charge $30?

It is best to be a pessimist. You are usually right and, when you're wrong, you're pleasantly surprised.
