The 11th Company GT is back this year! We have moved a few miles south this year to a new location in Murrells Inlet, SC @ the Inlet Square Mall.

Last year we had 92 Players. Hope to make it there again, this year!

Army Construction:
- You may not select more than 2 total Detachments, and must contain a Primary detachment
- You may not select more than 1 Combined Arms Detachment
- If you do select a Combined Arms Detachment, is must be your Primary detachment
- All Formations, Codices, and Dataslates published by 10/1/2014 are considered legal
- Forgeworld rules will not be legal for 2014
- You may select 0-1 Fortifications from the following: (at this time, no further upgrades to fortifications such as though in Stronghold may be taken)

Imperial Bastion
Skyshield Landing Platform
Firestorm Redoubt
Vengeance Weapons Battery
- Conjured units are not considered part of an explicit Detachment. As a result, benefits from your Warlord such as Conqueror of Cities and benefits granted by being a part of a given detachment do not apply to Conjured Units. Furthermore, as a RAW clarification, Conjured Models interact with other models as per the Allies Matrix, regardless of the Faction that summoned them.
- Super Heavy/Gargantuan/Escalation Lords of War are not allowed at this time (meaning you can still take Ghaz/Logan and an Imperial Knight, just not a Baneblade). (Subject to change if we get enough people who want these, and if we do change, will likely be using the modified list as per what BAO did)
- An Allied Detachment may be composed of models from the some Faction as your Primary Detachment.

Schedule: 4 Games Saturday starting: 8:30 AM, 3 Games Sunday starting 9:05 AM
Tournament Format: Simultaneous Battle Points and Win/Loss with 8 man brackets starting on Day 2.

Much cheaper deal this year at the mall. Not as nice but way more room. The mall is surrounded by places to eat like Outback, TGIF, some bars, Five Guys, Wendy's, and some diners. So, much better eating situation than previous year.


Hotels:

Since we aren't in a hotel this year, that means no specific place to stay. The closest hotel (which is basically in the same parking lot area) is the

There's also a Hampton Inn not to far away.

For more hotels, especially if you want to stay right on the water, you should check the Garden City area or the Surfside Beach area. Either is <10 minute drive. And of course, 15-20 minutes away is Myrtle Beach proper which is lined with Hotels all along the water front.

Hoping I can make it out this year to defend my title! Might have a tough time justifying it since I'm getting married only a few weeks beforehand. I'm working on it, though...!

To anyone considering attending, last year's was very smoothly run, plenty competitive, and lots of fun. *****, highly recommend this event.

I don't play 40k much anymore but I might have to come up from Charleston just to hang out and see this.

Any room to run a demo of Battlegroup?

You should come up and play 40K anyways. You could certainly come up to demo Battle Group, but our schedule is super tight this year so little free time for most people unless they finish rounds early.

Come. It's a good time had by all. Generally fairly laid back as far as GTs go.

Several new sponsors lined up this year with Tablewar, PoweredPlay, Mr. Dandy, and Kromlech sending us some giveaways.

Also, we're going to be giving out 11th company swag this year.

We've sold about 33% of tickets now. One month to go!

I may travel to this one. Would have to dust off some minis, but I will be in the area.

I really can't buy a ticket until the 1st of November... Splurged my budget on new necrons before I heard about tourney. Think there will be some left? Or selling like hot cakes.

Do you think mid next week I can still grab a spot? I'm active duty and have to get leave to come down so I cant confirm yet, but its a good excuse to visit family and attend this event.

I had planned to going to this event since I was a big fan of the podcast. However, since the Stomping Ground guys Mat and Jesse joined the podcast I can't bear to listen to it anymore and have decided to skip this event in favor of others. I still love Neal though.

Just finished up this tournament, and I wanted to say this was this smoothest run tournament I have been to in the last 7 years. Well done staff! I had a good time, 6 great opponents, and this tournament will be recommended to people by me in the future. Thanks!

From what I know Sean Nayden won the event. Beyond that I'm not sure.
