Hi everyone! I'm starting to grow impatient to play some games, but I'm still pretty low on models...
Here's what I own, ideas for a list? I have the bitz that came with the boxes but I guess I can proxy some equipment. I will do a WS army, so I think I'll play with that CT.

-6 SM bikers
-1 Attack Bike (MM or HB)
-5 assault marines (Fully magnetized)
-10 tactical marines (3 magnetized)
-5 dearh company marines (fully magnetized, they can proxy sternguard/vanguard/tac/assault)

For now my maximum investment can be an HQ or another box of something. ..
Can someone come un with a 500/750 list?

Here's what I would do with that for 500

Captain:
bike
Shield eternal
thunder hammer
artificer armor

5x tactical squad
plasma gun

5x tactical squad
plasma gun

5x Bikes
melta gun

Comes in just under 500
Add rhinos and attack bikes later for a good WS themed army.

Yea you need a bit more to have a solid list. Theres some lists you could make but it may not be too strong. You could use doubles of a lot of stuff. More assault marines/ tac squads/ bikes.
750 is a bit of a stretch without going crazy on the wargear, but you could try:

Captain
-bike, power sword, storm shield, combimelta
Bike Squad-5 guys
- 2 meltas
-sarge with powersword, combi melta, stormshield
Assault Squad-5 guys
-plasmagun
-sarge with power sword, stormshield
Assault Squad-5 guys (use death company)
-plasmagun
-sarge with power sword, stormshield
Attack Bike
-Multi Melta

That puts you just under 750. Dunno how strong it would be, but could be fun

@atariassassin the list seems fun, I always looked at ASM for some HoW+HnR but I think your list lacks the 2nd troop choice.

I could come up with a pretty nasty list for 750.

HQ
Captain, artificer armor, storm shield, bike, power fist, special chain sword relic 205 (Reason for both is so captain can chose its targets, against 2+ armor use power fist, agaisnt 3+ armor or worse use relic. Either way, you get the extra attack for having two special weapons)
Command squad, bikes, x4 grav guns (would have to proxy some special weapons) apothecary. 210

Troop
10 tactical marines, plasma cannon, melta gun, melta bomb (combat squaded up, sarge with melta guns in one squad, plasma in another) 170
10 tactical marines, plasma cannon, melta gun, melta bomb (Use death company and assault squads for this...If you magentized the assualt squads backs) 170

Little bit of proxy, but a really good list.

Good list, maybe i can buy some bitz, I'm sure they will come in handy later on.
Assault backpacks are magnetized, so it is feasible!
I guess my next investment will be a rhino for the tacs!

The second list was for blood angels. I assumed that's what you were going for when I saw the death company. If you play blood angels then the assault marines are troops.

When I started I was thinking about Blood Angels, then I saw the codex SM and fell in love with the Scars
The whole Hit and Run thing makes sense to me, why some guys with cannons on their shoulders wouldn't want to run away from a melee to shoot you in the face? Or a biker guy who can slam his front wheel in your face again, and again, and again?
