I'm paint a VERY rusty and battle worn Knight and could use a little help choosing a House. Is any house more likely to be dirty and worn than another? Ive only see pics of extremely clean knights or ones with very little damage.

How about a lone knight. It would make sense that the mech would get a bit shabby if pilot was on their own.

There is no Zuul, there is only war!

The house is no more. They failed to defend a world and were dishonored. He fights on as a master less warrior seeking to restore honor to the memory of His house.

Yup, that is what I would do. Maybe a Ronin theme?

I agree that lone knight makes the most sense. It's not like theres a death guard version of imperial knight houses. At least not that I know of

You could also simulate scratch marks over the house colours/sigil

Or Ork it up a bit

I do love ORKS!!! But I'll have to pass.

Planning on doing some salt weather over some brown, red, and orange rust tones on all of the armor panels. What would be a good top color that would complement the rusty tones?

Just a normal knight kit with none of the arms or ceramite plating attached to it

Ustrello paints- 30k, 40k multiple armies

For the guy who leaves it all on the field (because he doesn't pick up after the game).
