No he doesn't. Vel's ray is longer, thicker, and it hits more. Malz can only slap one champion once with his ray. Vel can slap the whole enemy time with his several times.

Nah. I don't have any friends who play ranked, but even if I did, this has become a point of honor/pride now. I'm going to solo my way out of this wretched basement.
Or not. Fourth promotion series ended in failure, and then I went on tilt and tumbled down to Bronze II.
Looking at win rates in bronze, I think I need to run Fiora top lane, Heimerdinger midlane, Rammus in the jungle, and Kog'maw as ADC. Any support will do.

Go Sona. She's really strong right now, and super easy to play. I am having a bit of success with her in (unranked), and I'm not a great player.

I'd also say Sona isn't that easy to play. A really strong understanding of the game mechanics is needed to get her at peak performance. Lulu, Soraka, Tresh, and Braum are much simpler to grasp.

Aside from being a fething sentient armadillo who menaces with spikes, he's one of the best teamfighters in the game. Jinx killed herself attacking me when I was playing him recently. I never attacked her, she just attacked me. And died from it. That's insane. And awesome.
Seaward wrote: I could see that. He's actually pretty unimpressive at the jungling part of jungling until about level 10 or so.
He is easy to stop from jungling and he is easily shutdown as he lacks a gap closer. While against regular enemies, you can maybe roll in, taunt and ult, decent teams will stop him from initiating at ease.
When that video came out Rammus was at the top of the rofttrain for jungle with Mumu, but some changes to the meta and the jungle mechanics have really screwed him. He can still be a good pick but you need to be wary of the enemy teams composition. If he can't close the gap or he is facing someone who excels in counter jungling, he's screwed. Unfortunately just about any team comp you'll see these days is probably capable of blocking his initiation.
(you can tell it's several years old just by the taunts, as namely the Karma, Tristana, and Xin Zhao taunts are very out of date... and of course some Champions are missing XD)

lol yeah, Trist currently feels like one of the most powerful candidates for her role right now.

I think she is (don't take my word though I haven't touched LoL in a few weeks. Too busy getting super serial for STO Delta Rising )
Karma might not have topped the support charts with her remake, but she's a very strong character now, and Xin is... Xin.
Posted it anyway Granted this is old preremake Xin. I don't think you can build AP Xin Zhao anymore. Riot seems to have something against people turning AD melee carries into AP assassins lol First they gutted the AP out of Xin, then they did the same to Yi.

Though Yi is now an AD assassin/jungler, not sure he's ever been an AD carry.

Back when the game first first came out 'assassin' was more of a player designation than one Riot had in mind. Early on Riot did produce Tryndamere, Yi, and Xin Zhao as AD carries (who were melee) but they rapidly fell behind in the meta because the ranged carries were always better. The Assassin's began to develop as a concrete set of characters a little later. EDIT: Talon was (imo) the first true assassin in the game, and with him the concept of assassin characters kind of solidified.
