Got a 600 Point UK under 18's tournament coming up in November, Trying to make an Eldar list to take to it, but struggling to build a balanced one, I've got this but I feel it is lacking any serious anti-heavy tank:

HQ:
Farseer /w Jetbike, MotLG, SS 160

Troops:
5 Dire Avengers 65
Wave Serpent /w SL, SC, HF, GWM 155

5 Dire Avengers 65
Wave Serpent /w SL, SC, HF, GWM 155

Total: 600

It comes to 600 exactly, The problem is I'm trying to build a very well rounded list, and I'm just not feeling this is cutting it, I was thinking about swapping a Scatter laser for a bright lance on one of the wave serpents, by my inexperience means that I wouldn't know how severely this would effect the list, or switch out either GWM or Shuriken cannon for eldar missile launchers. Just need some help deciding whether this would be good enough as I am hoping to go 4-0 like the last 3 years. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Would it be worth switching the scatter laser on one of the wave serpents just so I'm not relying on a lonely farseer for anything armour 13+?

Wow two wave serpents at 600 points. I would say you have already won the league. Looks brutal.

Lance maybe not needed. At 600 points not likely you will see much heavy armour. Maybe a Russ, but those are slow and have soso rear armour so..

Yeah, I've seen the occasional knight to, but I should be able to deal with that by flanking right? Also, with the farseer, just go with standard codex psychic right? Sorry, just a bit knew to Eldar is all, making sure I'm doing it right

Well, I played a similar list in a Berlin tourney and I won it. But it was 5th ed.
Nevertheless, the Lanchester square law holds for all editions.
I'd keep it. The GWM is not a mandatory upgrade.

Lanchester's square law - please obey in list building!

I'm just worried about facing anything AV 13+ I'm going to really struggle, and there is a lot more than you'd imagine at this points level.

Even if you faced some AV13+ it would most likely not be all round, and you have the speed to outflank. As others have said Russes, and even knights would be ok to handle if you can get round their back.

My issue is the stand alone warlord... he looks a bit vulnerable on his own, even on a jetbike (with the great cover save, which if he uses his spear is then snap shooting). Maybe a Warlock bodyguard might help... Also their extra warp charge will effectively take any oppo psykers out of the game.

Guardsman: "Sir, we appear to have brought knives to a gunfight"

BANG!!!

Commissar: "Anymore questions?"

That is true, I was thinking a couple of things, the first being Necron CCB, practically unkillable to any semi-compitent person. Land raider (I've seen one or two in the last 2 years) and Russes, especially double russ pask lists. But I guess I'll just have to consider those bad match ups

Yeah, Leman Russ might ruin your day but I can't see anything else having that effect.

If you are worried about AV 13+ you could swap the Mantleseer for an Autarch with similar loadout.

Autarch- Jetbike, Mantle, Laser Lance, Fusion Gun, Banshee Mask- 150 points.

That would leave you with 10 points left.

I like the GWM, espcially in low point games, but if you dont feel you need it yoiu could drop both, and throw the Phoenix Gem on the Seer/Autarch for aditional trolling

What are the missions in the school league?

Couple of suggestions;

Autarch
Avenging serpent w/scatter
Avenging serpent w/scatter
Crimson hunter

Adds some high strength and AA

Autarch
Avenging serpent w/scatter & SC
Avenging serpent w/scatter & SC
2x war walkers w/4x BL

If there are objectives then bikes and hawks are good options. Hawks have haywire if you're fortunate enough to get them into assault.

At this points level my suggestion would be to drop equipment for additional threat vectors and to balance the list.

I think autarch is not a good unit to use for anti tank. he has a melta gun which means you have to get close to shoot. Which generally leaves you in assault range, which the autarch is bad at. (not to mention youll only be getting one hull point off a turn).

Your list is fine. If your worried about av 13+ think about this.
A) There not going to be able to hurt you easily either. Which means you really dont need to even bother trying to kill them.
B) your fast, you can avoid certain units
C) Just go for last turn objective grabs after you kill their troops. Itll be rair to see another (av13+) tank that has OS. So, ignore them till last turn, kill troops, then jump on objectives.

Sure thing, so this list won't necessarily annihilate, but will win through tactical means?

Not good for anti-tank?

Dont forget that after he shoots his melta (at BS 6) he gets to charge in and hit rear armour with 5 S6 attacks.

Said not the best to USE as anti tank. Hes not terrible at dealing out damage, (but not spectacular either)
What makes him not a great unit to use as anti tank is like I said above, by getting close enough to shoot (and charge) the tank, you will be within charge range of their army. And 10 tactical marines charging you does around 2 wounds. And thats tactical marines.

Right, and for a 600 point game that is not so much a worry, also you should never be caught, you are faster than everything in the game.

Except to shoot the melta you have to use all your speed to get right by the tank. Especially if you assault it. Tanks arenet just out in the middle of nowhere, especially the higher av ones. They are usually near the rest of the army. which leaves you in range to be charged.

You cant assault their tank and then just not get assaulted.
