Thing is, you've given other people one limitation (use only one FOC), yet given yourself 7 limitations (use one FOC, no HQ, no Elites, no Fast attack, no Heavy Support, no Dedicated transports), whether intentionally or not. So everyone and their dog is going to be able to create a list to beat it. If you made the parameters equal for both sides, hardly any dex would stand a chance because hardly any dex can compare any troops slot to anything remotely near the power 30DC with jp, dual th and a LR crusader with mm + all the extras.
Whereas they may be able to create FA options that are better or HS, the difference will be nowhere near as pronounced as with the troops, and you have 6 troops slots.

It's also, sadly, out of date.

You can only have one unit of Drop Sentinels in an Infantry Platoon, and Vultures are a Fast Attack choice. Also, Sky Talons can't be taken as free heavies any more - they can only be taken as dedicated transports.

All Valkyries have all the extras, including missile pods and lascannons, and all Sky Talons have Missile Pods. Heavy Weapon squads have missile launchers. Special Weapon squads have Breacher Charges. Drop Sentinels have multi-meltas. All squads have Vox casters where applicable.

For those not in the know, a Breacher Charge is a melee small blast that's S8 AP2.

Also, where does it say the Vulture is a Fast Attack and Sky Talon is only Dedicated? Per IA Aeronautica (which as far as I know is the latest rules), the Vulture is a FA in an IG army (no mention of Elysian) and the Sky Talon is a slot-less HS in both Elysian and IG.

Latest Elysian rules are in Imperial Armour volume 3 Second Edition. Vultures and Vendettas are taken as part of the same unit choice, although all planes in the squadron must be the same type.

Now I thought you could only take one unit of DC in your army, thats a max 30 in an army...

Ah, that explains it. I was going off of IA8's Elysian Drop Troop Army List.

Yeah. The other major changes are that Demo Charges are replaced with Breacher Charges, which can't be thrown and are only a small blast.

Oh, and long-range ground scanners are a weapon option for a command squad veteran instead of being their own separate unit... so you can potentially twin-link any four units in your army (no restriction on vehicles, but the vehicle has to be within 12" of the scanner since it can't take a vox).
