Shave it off! You came in to this world bald, why not leave the same way? Seriously though, some men do look better bald. Even if you think you have a funny shaped head, NO ONE looks good with the combover. Toupees are okay, but too prone to mishaps. The friar tuck look is alright, but I still think shaved/close cropped is the way to go.

I don't think you can pull that off gracefully without being 50+ years old.
You could always do the Agassi style of super close cropped but also clearly bald. You don't need graying hair for that look to be decent.
Ultimately you have to just own whatever style you decide to go with. I think a lot of guys get too self conscious of their thinning hair and some go into denial and try to prop up whatever remaining hair they have left with mouses and styling gels, but that crap doesn't fool anyone. I know because I was one of those denial guys initially, and it is a waste of time and money. Just be confident with what you have going on and people will respond in kind.
I went through a similar period of denial. Avoid it. Everyone is right, there is nothing more ridiculous than a mand trying to hide the plain fact that his hair is going with comb-overs and the modern equivalent. I ended up taking the Agassi/Willis route. Very, very cheap to maintain. Buy a pair of clippers, and you'll never need another bottle of shampoo, comb or brush, and you can kiss the barber shop goodbye forever. And who knew? Some women even like it!

But, can you use an electric Shaver to keep it shaved?

See I was gonna add him in last, but I was like "Ripley looked okay when she was bald that one time" so I was like at google and typed in "bald ripley" and before I even stopped to think I'd pasted the image and all I could do was regret even mentioning that movie XD

Call me crazy, but I actually liked the first AVP film, and the second could have at least been passable save that I think someone put sunglasses on the camera during a movie filmed almost completely at night.

Or another way to look at it: Shaving is dealing with baldness through acceptance and moving on with your life, while attempts to "cure" baldness with lotions and pills often offer nothing more than vain hope and disappointment.

My family has been blessed with grayness, and that peculiar type of baldness which leaves the mohawk area and the sides. Oddly enough, it is quite hidden by keeping shoulder length hair.
As with all things physical, I say lay the options out in front of you- and then let the person who matters the most to you make the call. My wife's been calling the shots on my hair since before we were hitched. After all, she's got to look at me. Good luck in your adjustment period!
