Anyone pick up any of the newer sets? wondering if I should expand my SHIELD with some of the Cap2 stuff.

Yup, had a fair bit of GotG, got all of Captain America, a good chunk of Deadpool. Been enjoying the newer figures and the in general better scaling between the heroes and villains.

The Shield stuff from Cap 2 is great, you get Rumlow, a few agents, but my fave is the Cap/Widow base is marked both with the film Avengers symbol and Shield symbol.

Oh and on a side note, did you know the Venom and Red Hulk from the Thunderbolts starter for Deadpool are Shield marked as well?

Still one of my fave games though, oh and very happy they finally have designed a new version of the double base, as the old break your fingers style was hanging around like a bad smell compared to those lovely new ones. Lockjaw in the new Inhumans starter for GotG is on one.

That's pretty cool, though redundant for most of my teams these days since I run movie Fury who gives all Movieverse Avengers access to the SHIELD ability. Still neat in case I don't run him though.

Aye, I need to track down that Fury myself. Red Hulk was still a nice shock when I got the Thunderbolts set though. Love running him in a Shield team.

I believe I have that Fury, I stopped playing for the most part. The second hand market just became stupid crazy with War of Light hitting Origins in a big way. I looked at what I could spend to get WoL Red Lanterns and what I could get for that same amount in any other miniatures game... I've still got plenty of stuff from WatX up to Deadpool, but nothing newer than that.

I didn't mean to kill the thread :(

Have you two (anyone) been keeping up with the sets? Or do you play regardless of Modern/Silver/Golden Age rotations? How do your local venues do heroclix?
