You seem to have five Elites choices, but only enough for a single CAD. Is this Unbound? If you use the Daemon Prince, divide the Chaos Cultists into two squads and then you have the ability to double CAD to at least make your list legal. With the exception of your Terminator squad and possibly your Forgefiend, the core of this army isn't a significant threat to force target priority from your opponent. He'll essentially shoot at anything within his/her terms.
Heldrakes depend on your meta. Do you face a lot of Flyers and/or FMC to possibly VS? Do you face a lot of 3+ that you would love to incinerate? 1-2 is enough.
Chaos Cultists are good for being cheap to claim objectives, but depending on the mission, you may want to keep them in Reserves for non-Maelstrom missions. They will die very easily outside of cover.
Common usage for bikes are Nurgle bikers in sizes of 5+ (like Chaos Spawn) to soak up wounds for an HQ.
Hi, like I say, pretty new here, i will admit i was trying to keep a bit of a rounded squad. I will primarily be going up against Eldar, maybe nids. (just playing with friends) and obviously missions etc are TBC. I need to get a big rule book as there are a lot of the basics that i am missing.
The Elite choices are litrally what i got in some boxes. I got the Chosen and a hellbrute from a friend who got the DArk vengeance boxed set. the termies came in the attack force and... ok yeah i bought the other "hellbrutes" (I converted some dreadnoughts as i dont really like the look of hellbrutes, but my friends are cool with this). So yeah if the list looks a little blah, i just listed everything i had from those boxes (i got extra
CSM and RAptors just to make up the numbers)
Its because i thoguht the Cultists will die very fast that i split my
CSM into 2 squads. Maybe i misread the codesx but i thought it was 1 for every 10 in the squad can get a special weapon (IE Flamer, heavy bolter, plasma gun)

ForgeFiend? No try mauler fiend. You need these guys to draw attention away from your rhino.
Thanks for this, I must have read the Codex wrong, i thought 1-10 was 1 special weapon, and 10-20 was 2 special weapons. That shall be rectified.
I was looking at getting another Rhino, Also toyed with a Land raider, but i guess the terms can deepstrike?
I made the forgefiend as I thought shotty at a distance would be good against nids, and it might provide support at range for other squads. buit i was seriously divided between that and the mauler as that seems to be a bit of a tank splitter. is there space for both in my list or is that just too many points?
Would anyone reccomend oblits or other heavy support?or is a
CSM army all about fast attack?
