I can imagine him being surrounded by a squad of the phalanx breachers in Crimson fists colors now.

On a side note if he comes with a helmet this will be the best model they have done in the whole heresy imo

Best one so far, I think. Heavy, armored, and all business. No silly crap like bare arms or stilted pose (I'm looking at you Vulkan and Ferris).

Also, rivets for the rivet god.

That's a beautiful sculpt with a real sense of weight. Everything just looks heavy: shoulders canted in the direction of the power fist and the shield held at low-ready. The detail on the armor is just right, too. I wonder if he's physically larger than a plastic marine?

He could be a smidge bigger than normal models, he is after all wearing void hardened power armour.

he in fluff is as big as some of the primarchs, guillman notes this when he meets him, (paraphrased) "Your a big chap!"

With all the Shield Eternals and Thunderhammers going around, it think it would of been fine without the combi

"Vigilus pattern storm shield" IIRC. To differentiate it from the Salamanders Dragonscale thingies I think. Usually only available to Imperial Fists in Terminator armour, but Polux is an exception.

Salamanders only give +1 to invul. U see them on 4++ cataphractii termis though.
