I'm seeing what looks like the edge of a wing in the upper left hand corner (could be scales too as previously mentioned) . Im thinking Raven Guard or an aquila themed storm shield that would fit with the Pollux idea.

My money's on Corax. The size of the base, the stylized wing... We'll see.

(Looks like I was wrong)

I told you, the top left, below the "shoulder pad", it looks like a little like blades.

Maybe?

You could have a case of the Wishful Thinkings here too though!

I'd love for it to be Corax too - he's my second third favorite Primarch...

Shush. I'm in my happy place, where Corax is next to be released. Don't ruin it.

I'm dying for Alpharius (though it looks as if Omegon is a ways away), Corax and Perturabo and his Iron Circle.

FW needs to get going on these things!

John grammaticus would be amazing! Doubt we would be that lucky! I'm with the masses on corax.

Looks like there has been a ceasefire on the emails, maybe just a Christmas truce??

Really? To me he just looks like a bit goofy steampunk version of that old GI Joe firefighter action figure. To each his own, I guess... There are likely folks who think something similar about the Gal Vorbak and Curze figs that I like so much.

I like these flamer section models much more than the lasrifle ones. But then, I still haven't seen any of the lasrifle troops with a paint job that I felt really did them justice.

While I like the idea of a John Grammaticus model, I can't see it being particularly exciting. I agree you could do it for an event only, model, though.

Man, I wish there was a real Black Library where I could get a Black Library Card and take out Black Library Books without having to buy them. Of course, late fees would be your soul. But it would be worth it. - InquisitorMack

I would be surprised if it was a model without rules when we have rules without models still. My money is on Sevatar.

I think a John Grammaticus model is pretty pointless for 40k.. maybe if FW was a company like Reaper that simply made models that serve no real purpose. I mean what would he do? Run around off the board doing stuff while in reserve? He's not exactly a battle field character.. and 40k is about battles. However! They did make rules for a Navigator which also serves absolutely no purpose in 40k, the only time I've ever seen a Navigator take to the battle field is in the Damnation of Pythos book.. and that was only because there was no other option to survive.

Yeah I mean isn't he just a regular dude who lives for a really long time?

I think a John Grammaticus model would be a fantastic addition, though I think he'd work best as an event model. Perhaps not that great for 40k, but Forge World do (or have done) lots of models that are more for painters than gamers.

The aforementioned navigator's an obvious one, but everything from the Tau air caste to Arbites cyberhounds have been done. Perfect for smaller scale skirmish.

I love the Navigator model, it's completely useless, but ideal for the Rogue Trader force I'm planning to build with the Solar Auxilia army list, because you know, fluff.

Of course if you play the 40K RPG's with minis, then things like the Navigator are amazing.

That looks like him for sure. Storm shield with what looks like a power fist. Fits his profile in the rules.

Agree that it's looking like Polux Brilliant! Loving the style of his armour too. Hopefully he does also come with a helmet option, seeing as he is meant to be a void war expert and comes equipped with void hardened armour.
